    Popcorn Balls
    Four ingredients are all you need to make these sweet popcorn balls that are all treat and no trick!
    Total Time: 30 minutes
    Yields: ~12 popcorn balls
    Ingredients:
    7 - 8 ounces Webbie’s Snack Shoppe Gourmet White Popcorn (about half of a large bag) (Deli)
    2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter (Dairy)
    2 16-ounce bags marshmallows (Aisle 6)
    1 tsp. vanilla extract (Aisle 6)
    Shortening, for forming (Aisle 6)
    Wax Paper, for wrapping
    Directions:
    Place the popcorn in a very large mixing bowl and set aside.
    Meanwhile, in a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add in the marshmallows and vanilla extract, stirring to combine (a rubber spatula works best for this). Cook, stirring occasionally, until marshmallows have completely melted.
    Pour melted marshmallow mixture over popcorn and stir immediately to ensure all the popcorn is evenly coated.
    Rub a teaspoon or two of shortening between very clean hands, like you’d apply lotion, and use your coated hands to gather up a generous handful of marshmallow popcorn and form it into a ball. Press the ball together firmly, but not too tightly.
    Wrap the popcorn ball in a piece of wax paper, twisting the ends in opposite directions so it remains closed.
    Popcorn balls are best enjoyed within three days of making.
