Maybe you haven't noticed it but Jin is like the main character in the story, everything he does will impact the other boys

Seokjins voice is soooo underrated he has such an incredible voice and it annoys me when people say he only suits a certain coulor or tone .. but awake , epiphany exist but on the other side there is dionysus and so what .. so people need to understand this man can do anything and everything with his vocals 🙌🏼🙌🏼

I agree. When I first started stanning, before I even knew that Jin didn’t have a background in singing, I picked him out as my favorite vocalist. He just moved me. But people still qualify his talent like “for where he started, he’s amazing!” -_- like he’s amazing period. He’s incredibly talented period. Like people need to give him his credit.
one small thing, j-hope has also credits for Awake, he actually created some of the melodies in this song.

Jin always has a camera and always is looking at the flower.If you see epiphany ,euphoria and bts highlight reel music video you might understand more.What im saying is that jin is basically the main character and is trying to help the others.
So awake is a really heartbreaking song, it’s basically about Jin accepting that he’s “never going to be as good as the other members”

Trust me the short stories are ALL connected. The apple was in Jimin’s story. The bird was in jungkook, Rm and V’s. The picture of the mother was in J-hope and V’s. And the petals are always associated with Jin

Jin actually helped writing this song and that's why is so emotional.
Jin expressed that he might not be as good as the other 6 flowers (his band mates) but he still wants to try, he will struggle. Even when it seems he can't fly as high as they do.
This was the song that made me stanned BTS and made Jin my bias. He showed his feelings and made understand that even when u compare yourself with others it's always good to keep on trying and try to be better.
Jin really is an underrated singer even when he's one of the most stable singers live.
During this last tours you can't find any videos of him being unstable cause he has practiced to be the amazing singer he's now. I'm so proud of him.

This song is very, very personal to Jin. It talks about his insecurities, about feeling inadequate but still wanting to try his hardest. He feels inferior to the other members (6 flower petals) but he still wants to try catching up. So glad you loved it as much as I do. It's my favourite too! ❤️

The song talks about jin himself... back to then, he had such a hard and rough time..he was not sure enough about himself and his skills in singing and dancing, thats why he said "maybe i can never fly"...and by saying "Maybe i can't touch the sky like those flowers petals there" he meant the other bts memebers, but anyway he will be happy for them and support them as well. 😕💔

You should definitely do this one live because he sings a lot of it without a backing track and absolutely KILLS it. Plus they have live strings on the stage and it’s beautiful! ALSO, Thank you for giving Jin some love! I know you’re a maknae stan generally but it’s nice that you recognize the talent of the hyung line too! And it can be your fave even if he’s not your bias. Haha. I’m a Hoseok stan but First Love is my favorite BTS song period.

I love jin and his voice. When I heard awake on radio for the first time, I started to cry on the mf bus. I was so embarrassed but couldn't help it. The funny thing is I didn't even know I was having a hard time then but the song made me realize I was suffering real bad. After a week of crying, listening to awake before going to bed and finding out about bts, I could start again. It literally cured my depression.

Jin is the main character of the BU storyline. I'm so proud and happy at the same time bc BigHit Ent. is finally trying to showcase Jin's unnoticed but golden talent. This short film Awake basically tells us the burden Jin experiences whenever the Fate calls out to him to resolve everything while you see your friends die at every failed attempts. I feel bad but he deserves to be the Main Character here y'all.💜💜

Yea Jin wrote this with RM
All members contributed on their WINGS album, each of their solo songs, they all wrote and co-produced it. So Jin wrote this with Hobi, RM, their CEO PD and other producers in their company. This song means so much for Jin. He was dedicated to finish this, I remember a story that he wrote, rejected, revised the lyrics many times and the producers praised him for not giving up on this and finally finish this one. May I also add that, this was phenomenal live.

Btw jin wrote and co-produced this song with the help of the members and bighit producers. Yes he started singing in his early 20's but TALENT runs in his blood and he's humble about it too.. and by now you might know that jin is practically the main character of this whole series while other six members are partnered up in some way..

sorry im late😭 your reaction to awake is so cute oh good to feel you rlly enjoy the song! and for your info, jin took part in writting the lyrics, and it reflected a part of himself. at the time the song was released, jin was considered as the meaningless member of bts due to the reason he had very few lines in bts’s song, but jin did never complain and was jealous of his 6 bts brothers( he even showed love towards them many many times), and he tries so hard to improve his skill. the lyrics say “maybe i cant touch the sky i still want to struggle, to run” it may mean even though he is not good; even though the efforts he put into his work does not bring any good result, he still tries, and runs. to me, the way they are and their message are powerful and honest, and the melody of this song is my style. so happy to see you reaction! thank you aaron the only reaction channel i visit whenever im free!

Jin started with zero experience in singing (and dancing) that's why he didn't have alot of lines in BTS's old songs so the flower petas are the other bts members , even if he couldn't do much as they do ( fly like them) he is still going to try harder and improve himself ( he sill wants to stratch his hand to the sky )
and with them around him ,even if he's afraid he want to struggle and do better..

According to the theme of the BTS story in this song jin is disappointed as everytime he goes in the past...he cannot save every member and so he thinks ...maybe he can never fly and it also has a lot meanings....but truly i love this song.❤️

The song (from my interpretation) is basically about Jin thinking that he's (for lack of a better term) the weakest member in the group. We know that Jin came into Bighit with no prior experience. He had to learn how to sing and dance from scratch and dancing in particular was pretty hard for him. He also used to really get very few lines in their songs. You only really need to watch the "Not Today" mv where Jin only has 2 tiny lines and gets about 1 second of screen time to himself to know that the company did him dirty a lot of times.
This song is basically saying that for his own sake and for the sake of his members (the six flowers) he will never give up and keep on going even if he might not be able to fly. It makes me sad in a way, but it also is a highly inspirational song to me personally.
Awake is one of the best solo I've ever heard and it will always be my 2nd favorite after Epiphany. These 2 songs defined Jin's vocals. BTW Jin and Taehyung are great actors too their facial expressions are so pure according to situations.

Aaron, the behind the scene of this movie is very funny, how Jin always flustered and scared when he lighted the fire.
Jin is main character, the other 6 represents Jin's emotions and struggles. The bad and the good lives within each one of us(represented by abraxas). Wings is basically the journey of the growth and self conscious, Wings was inspired by Demian (Herman Hesse)
"I am in awe" - me too.I love everything in this song, it comes in my mind too deep and takes my heart to the end (sorry for my english, also I'm Ukrainian/russian, no matter?)so I can't tell you how much I love this song, it is my favourite song for some reason (also i like classical and instrumental music, but "BTS choose you, not you choose them", as soneone said, so now I have new great music with good lyrics and such talented artists).Tonight I been waiting for this video and didn't sleep, but now I'm so satisfied,so pleasured! This video has images/symbols from all the over videos. He has Jimin’s Apple at the start and RM’s mirror with the writing. The chains around the bureau are like the chains around taehyung’s phone booth, then jungkook’s bird painting and suga’s piano. And Hoseok’s mama painting was on top of the piano. :)
