I have taken delivery of the Ronin 4D-8K combo yesterday here in the UK - I'm not a cinema person, not a blogger, not a youtuber, just got it to have a play with it - so have no need for it but just love gadgets lol - not even opened the box yet - will over christmas - I did pre-order 2 years ago but cancelled after 1.5yrs of nothing from DJI lol then bought it at release then a day later it arrived - I was shocked thinking back to my pre-order that for the cost no lens came with it included!!!! (nor for 6k model) so thankfully they do now with the combo! no way I'm taking it to the desert
huh, so the 4D supports the ancient old GPS module!! anyway bag the camera shooting in the dirt, I cant imagine having my lenses focus ring being scratchy, or at least bag the lens
@@VirtueMedia The point I'm trying to make is that there is a weight limit for that arm for the lens otherwise you have to lock it in place, no? How can you call this is cinema camera if you can't use zooms or arri master primes? DJI is trying VERY hard to sell this thing. Cinema cameras are modular for a reason. I'm sure the trip was great though....,
@@workinprogress2077 yes there is a weight limit for the lenses with this camera, but these anamorphics that we used on set, they all basically worked good and motors we strong. Check Cam’s video he goes in more detail
I find it VERY suspect when RUclipsrs talk about this camera and say stuff like"its gonna change filmmaking forever", I understand people who say this bullsh' are getting money, free $10K cameras and trips to exotic locations...., but then again if Elon Musk can exaggerate /lie when it serves his purposes so can camera youtubers.., I also LOVE how having a different opinion or calling people out is being a hater....,
@@workinprogress2077 hey i get you, and heres the thing tho, and this is not just a youtubers opinion because im just new to doing youtube, but you dont necessarily need to use a specific type of lens just so its called a cinema or whatever, there are a lot of new compact lenses from dzo, cooks, and other that work with this camera. If you do want to use a heavy zoom lens on it, you can with the flex system and a tilta cage. This camera really offers a lot for waay cheaper than anything equivalent
@@BinaryReplicanti was going to trash bag it, but wasnt my call nor my camera haha, mine id definitely cover it! Tho it looked cool, wouldnt look as exciting if it was covered
Bird gang gang! Thanks for all the help brutha 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽

Good Job, Killer.
Hey, I have a question regarding the counter weight ? How can I use it?
So the gimbal can balance the Blazar lens without any issues?
Yes, not the 100mm tho
thnx for the reply and great job!@@VirtueMedia
Классно снято на очень необычную камеру
guys how did you mount GPS module?
you need a accessory that allows you to connect the gps module to the 4D handle area
Where did you hear that the 6K is going to get 50fps no crop? I've been waiting forever for this!
Connect your 6k to your computer and update the software, i updated mine the day it got released and i have 50fps with no crop
@@VirtueMedia amazing! Just updated! Thanks dude
@@elidanceali glad i could help!
Where is the PL Mount version? 😂
The lens we used was a PL mount lens

?
😬😬 should use plastic bag to cover the camera from dust.
that was the original plan 😅
@@VirtueMedia dust is enemy of camera.
Anyone else triggered by the dust-covered camera? (Why god made plastic bags...)
It all just dusted off 😂
@@VirtueMedia Good, but covering would keep you from having to dust it off. Time-saver.
They said that they were going to cover it with a plastic bag and then didn’t do it. 🙄 Respect the equipment.

Canon R5C. 1/3 of the price. 1/5 of the weight.
