The 1/4” ratchet you said your dad gave you hit home a bit. I just bought my son(he will be one year 8/09/18) his first snap on tool. THLD72 in pearl? Blue. 1/4” ratchet. It meant a lot seeing that you mention something so small but so big and meaningful. Thanks for the great videos and awesomeness
A tool guy that's laid back and no pressure to buy. That's nice to see. To bad your not close to me or the 1/2 electric impact would be sold. Can't afford a big compressor to have a air run gun
As someone who has never been a tech at a big shop it’s crazy to me that they don’t provide the basic tools you would need and the specialized tools for at least the cars they warranty.
Since you guys are a flat rate shop, what does management/ownership think/say about being in the tool truck? Notice sometimes there is couple of techs in the truck. Are you loosing $ being in there? I never worked flat rate, always hourly. I try my best to not abuse my time in the truck as the customer is still getting billed. Keep up the Snap-on videos, nice to see Western Canada point of view! Thanks.
Scott Warrington i don't think you know how flat rate works, for an oil change or something the customer pays 1hr of labor ( not really more like .6) so he pays for 1hr about $120 no matter if the tech takes 20min or 2hrs because thats what the labor pays for an oil change
Parking brake option is great. Had solus edge went to modis edge for scope functions and was blindsided by the Zeus months later. Was torqued that it came out right after I'd bought modis edge but I love the Zeus which I love. Yeah I do more hobby and other stuff with it. Intelligent diagnostics is nice though the 3yr subscription price wasn't the most appealing. Did get a cart thrown in with the touchscreen monitor for less than $1k. Not to bad a price for the extras but they got their money for it on the tool I'm sure. Now I see how you can buy so much off the truck weekly with having worked backed up. Must be flat rate? I've wondered about that in the past in regards to the toll haul you do weekly... Lol... Tools, a bad habit we all have. Lucky you got the Solus as they've been taking the Solus, Solus Ultra and even Solus Edge in trades big time so they can push the Apollo scan tools. Maybe you should have a behind the scenes discussion with your snap-on guy and do a little discussion about it. IF you do have the discussion don't tell us as I don't want your snap on guy taking heat from Snap-On Corporate for saying anything if he ever will. You don't have to tell us about the discussion. Heck just start it with "I heard from a reliable source" and we'll get the drift....
BlindBatG34 I have a swtichblade and in a professional environment the battery does not last. My dewalt 12v last all day, this one lasts a 2.5ish hours. It is bright, and very useful though.
Joel do you guys in the shop use a scope to diagnose electrical problems and nvh? Reason why I bring it up is you were saying you had a vehicle with a noise/vibration. Have quite a few Technician friends who use the Pico Nvh kit to diagnose these issues and they love using it. It has made their diag time less. If you would like a link to where you can look at this nvh kit let me know.
I don't mean to feed the habit but streamlight has a light out called the switchblade uses the same battery and charger as the stinger. It's my new go to light... I think I have all but the one you purchased in this video
Keep the videos rolling I'm entertained. What's up with the engine jobs on these newer Hyundai's? seems to go bad alot! Side note, is the snap on hutch going to work with the shark top u have on the tool box?
Hello, i rlly like your videos, you should make new video on that snap on scan tool you got so ppl from europe like me can see what you can do with it! Ty, keep doing the great work, music is awsome!
It’s new. It’s the right angle drill but with the hex bit head. Looks super useful. I’ll get the part number for you. If I don’t back to you on this comment it will be in a video.
Those days are far behind, nowadays are so much options that this kind of highly price tools are outdated, you can go to homedepot and find 50% of the assortment that this thiefs have on those pocket hikers trucks has.
He yells it’s Snap-on f-in Wednesday what he doesn’t know everyone in the waiting room can hear him. 😊😂🤣
Bahahaha Jackson wanted to yell it for awhile. He’s a detailer.

I like that your guy is SUPER stocked all the time.

Same flexible light that Picoscope has minus the uv light and for less than $60 when I bought recently.
On your new flashlight if you double tap the power button does it strobe light?

It’d be cool to see a comparison between the StreamLight SwitchBlade and the new Snappy light.
BlindBatG34 the switchblade is brighter

My citizen solar tech 160 (ecodrive) has been ticking for 15 years straight same battery. FYI!
I own two more ecodrives. My blue angels is my daily wear. I love it.

Hyndai hasn’t made a good engine for a few years. It keeps me busy. Haha my shark too won’t work. I’m getting a new one made for me that will.

great video as always brother keep up the good work
What day is it today?
Good post sir.
What was the cost for the scanner
Just over $2000. It’s new refurbished with a full warranty and European updated.
Is there a reason my dealer only has 1/8th of the stuff Tyler has on his truck ?
What's that hex head cordless ratchet looking thing he was "modeling" lol. I have the drill and kinda want that but can't find the part # anywhere
It’s new. It’s the right angle drill but with the hex bit head. Looks super useful. I’ll get the part number for you. If I don’t back to you on this comment it will be in a video.
Yeah that'd be awesome if you can get the part # cuz the first Wednesday after I see its gunna end up on my tab lol
Great video, are you going to do a video using the Solus Ultra? Until next time PEACE.
So nice video ✌🏻👌🏻
Are you replacing your top. Not sure if the hutch will fit with your top
I would be replacing it.
Why not just get the ECPRA072 light and be done with? So much money spent on lights seems a massive waste
I don’t see it that way. I light lights. Haha
Do you ever replie
As much as I can. I don't get notifications for comments as my phone would blow up all day.
The Snap-On Tool Review can do get part number on that big slide hammer seen on truck
In the video I wrote on the screen there is no part number on Snap-on.com. I can ask my dealer for it.
Yea trying to buy it ty
4567SH is the part number bro.
