      I can't see Shohei on a show like this. He's said in several interviews that he doesn't care about money or luxury items. Every game I keep looking for at least a chain around his neck but it's not there. No fancy watch either. Just a Seiko - one of his endorsements. He said that what's most important to him is to be a person with good moral character. He uses baseball, because it's what he loves to do, as a means to achieve this. Watch his interview with the Red Chair. If he were invited on this show, it would be the shortest segment in GQ Sports history because he literally doesn't spend his money. He spends what he needs to and saves the rest. He's been this way since his Nippon Fighter days in Japan.

    Only part that seemed a little odd to me, was him buying a house for his Major League Baseball playing father, who he said was rich at the beginning of the video.
