Frankly speaking, it feels to me like he s just from an ex communist country, and most of the people in these countries think like that. Though it may seem like they are close minded, being gentle and softly pushing them in the correct decisions is what really helps. I say this from experience since I live in such a country, what I've found is, they have a lot of preconceptions from their own parents, and they usually treat their children much better compared to how they were treated as a child, it's pretty hard to change your mindset 180 when you grew up raised with certain presuppositions(ie women do the householding, men are the breadwinners, they need to "protect" women and guide them)

Physical punishment is an absolute NO... NEVER. It is a learned behavior from the parents & previous generations. Absolutely 1000% inappropriate. What's actually occurring? Besides repeating a pattern, the parent has failed to learn the discipline of proper, mindful communication with their children, creating boundaries without their own childhood emotional baggage that they then transfer to their children. I was one that broke the generational pattern. Striking another human being, pet or any living creature even with a "light swat" is an act of violence. Period.

Do people forget about herd immunity?
Herd immunity occurs when a significant portion of the population is immune to a disease, either through vaccination or previous infection, thereby reducing the likelihood of disease spread. For some diseases, such as measles, which is highly contagious, a higher coverage rate is crucial.
Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR): 95% coverage
Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis (DTaP): 90-95% coverage
    Polio: 90-95% coverage
Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib): 90-95% coverage
    Hepatitis B: 90-95% coverage
    Varicella (Chickenpox): 90-95% coverage
Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV): 90-95% coverage
    Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine: 85-90% coverage
Influenza (annual flu vaccine): 70-90% coverage, varies by region and recommendation
Human Papillomavirus (HPV): 80-90% coverage (recommended for pre-teens and teens)
If you don't vaccinate, you risk not only your children, but their peers as well.
Vaccination is also about living in society, my friends.

As a non-native speaker myself, can I ask you not to invite people who struggle with delivering their point because they don't speak English fluently enough? It's not benefitting anyone, the poor man took forever to voice his opinion, wasn't eloquent enough to really get the point across, respond to others' opinions and engage in the conversation on the same level as everybody else, and all that through no fault of his own, really. Inviting immigrants/non-native speakers is absolutely amazing, but it becomes pointless when they struggle to voice their opinion. Sorry if the comment was a little too blunt lol

Every credible pediatric/psychological org, after aggregating countless studies, determined that, surprise, physically assaulting a child that cannot fight back is correlated with maladaptive developmental outcomes, regardless of how "gentle" or "harsh" the parent is. So the people that don't strongly disagree with hitting kids in any fashion are just objectively ignorant at best and antisocial at worst. Abusive either way, but i'd assume most parents are willing to adapt to this info and be better.

child needs parent(s), i raised my 2 nephwes, i am their dad even though i am not. my partner was raised by his grandmother till age 8, then he was raised by social care and state, he was too old for adoption, too old for foster care... my hephews were my prirority when i got custody over them, today they are adults and told me i literaly saved them from doom, from system, from juvie, from, from trading them in orphanges by adults in charge for them and their well being, from dragging them thru foster care, from orphange. my partner said once too me, that anyone who says how child needs a mother and a father should volounteer in orphanges, meet a system, talk to 18 year olds tossed to street by the same system with no where to go and no one to go to. child needs a parent(s). that role can take anyone who is stabile and normal in a head. after the war and during war 14 year olds took a role of parents taking care for younger siblings in my homeland, at age 18 they desepertly fought to take them out of system, coz they knew what is going on inside the system. 18 year olds were taking a role of parents of siblings and younger cousines coz whole families were just vanished. child needs a parent(s), period.
in my homeland homes for kids without adequate parental care are over filled, str8 couples only want to adopt babies and toddlers who are ''white''( not roma kids), when they foster, they foster only toddlers, healthy pre teen kids and healthy teens, again no roma kids or kids with special needs. guess who foster those kids, gay coupels, just one gay coupel was needed to sue the state and won and have a right to adopt and foster a child, others followed. and they foster 2 kids with special needs, same as other gay coupels, roma kids and kids with special needs, coz str8 coupels in a country wich have 95% of chatholics (christians) only wants ''white'' healthy babies and todlers to adopt and foster only ''white'' healthy kids... like war never thought them nothing.

A lot of gay men and women adopt children in less than ideal situations and make their situation way more ideal than if they were in the adoption center and or foster care. Can you honestly tell a child in foster care that they would need to WAIT for the "magical" straight couple to adopt them, and risk more further mental damage from a lack of parental support, or would it be IDEAL to have gay parents who demonstrate good parenting, to adopt that destitute kid?

    Ok two points:
#1: It is optimal to have a nuclear family because men and women are different and bring different assets in the education of the child. Two of my friends are lesbians and mothers of a little girl and outside of me there is no masculine figure anywhere around them. I can see the difference that girl doesn't have the masculine energy, the boundary and the logic she needs she always goes for her emotions, all her mothers do is follow how she feels which is not optimal.
#2: The physical punishment. We can talk hours about it but we all can see how undisciplined, unrully and disrespectful children have become for the last 20 years since the physical punishment is not the norm anymore. They are nightmares. Parents have to step up and kids really need to understand now they are not in control of everything.
    Spanks worked when used smartly

    • @gachamansama3703
      @gachamansama3703 4 месяца назад +3

1: In the case of having a child, less than optimal conditions would detriment them for sure but in other cases, there are EVEN LESS optimal conditions if no action were to be placed. What would your say to the kids raised by gay parents who were abandoned or adopted? They already come from a less than optimal situation, are we really gonna wait it out for them to find a more suitable male-female coupling?
2: I agree with this point.

@gachamansama3703 The thing with the term "optimal" means it's always better to take that direction or make that choice instead of others but it doesn't mean the others are totally bad or wrong.
You give me extreme examples of kids who were abandoned or adopted which are not the majority. Well it's always better to have a mother and a father but two parents is still great.
Same problem exists with single parenthood. One parent is not enough. Statistics proved when you are raised by a single mother, you are more likely to end up in prison, not finish school, living in poverty and doing crime.
