Yes idk how someone should act in this situation. They also have him answering at an awkward angle which is dumb…
I also am hearing many red flags… things like his mom was a helicopter parent but it’s because she cared… If anyone understands this dynamic and the defending of a parents actions, even when they aren’t healthy actions… they will see some holes develop as far as the psychological building blocks.
I am NOT saying the moms raising of her kids lead to a psychopathic murderer. I AM saying that some of the actions of the mom sound reminiscent of possible personality disorders. If there was a family history of psychological disorders/personality disorders It will affect kids. I see a few tale tale signs in this brother. Can't help but think that the push that's been going on for a few years (decades) to take away parents rights has something to do with that. Often this push comes with smearing the parents to their children and alienating them.

    • @lostallhope675

With technology and computers and gaming, alot of children are becoming antisocial and alot have awkward socializing skills. Parents are literally raising Adult children. Some of those children have no respect for their parents. They have been and given everything too them, without working hard or knowing what it is like to work for something. When parents stop giving in and change the rules. The kids get mad and believe they are owed. I also heard children are killing their parents for insurance money, cause it might bring them wealth faster.

His pain is evident. I can’t imagine his torment. I’m unaware of this case previously but a closed head injury is in the history of more than one serial killer.

Who's head injury, Chandler's fake one? He had a mild concussion and greatly exaggerated it and made most of it up.

    • @catherinehpn3613

I stand corrected. I hadn’t realized he was lying about his injury.

The examining doctor said there was no evidence of injury despite CT scan, MRI and examination of the spinal column, so they treated it as mild concussion to be on the safe side (so they didn't get sued if he had a relapse). Didn't even find a bruise, but took his word for it and gave him a sheet of instructions in case more symptoms developed. Which he used to fake more symptoms.

It has to be insanely hard to be in Mitchell’s position. Personally, I wouldn’t be able to forgive my sibling. What Chandler did is beyond forgiveness. His actions were incredibly evil, selfish, and illogical. His blatant arrogance, lack of accountability, and seeming lack of awareness for the destructiveness of his years of lies to his family, fiancé, her family, and both of their friends makes it so much worse.

This is so sad. But on a side note, I hate when attorneys ask intrusive questions that don't connect to the case just so they can get a running start on their examination. As an expert witness, I have stated, 'I don't see the connection' so I wasn't forced to answer. Like asking him if he was in a relationship. That's none of her business. He wasn't suspected of participating in the murder. They have even asked me where I lived. I state, 'I'd rather not say.' I remember a witness to a murder was on the stand and the attorney asked her what university she was going to. She stated, 'I'd rather not say for my privacy.' The prosecution was told to ask more relevant questions. And the way the prosc keeps saying 'okay' is cringe-worthy.

My heart goes out to the rest of the family who loved these two people and especially the brother. I am sure it is a given each person that was close to these two individuals will need extra help from a professional to try and cope with this. It's hard just losing your parents but the way they died is making this so much more intense. On top of that not my business but I think I would burn that house down just so I wasn't reminded of this horrible horrible situation. I'm not sure who would want to buy a home where something so gruesome had occurred.
