I know this video is old...but hopefully you can see this post.... If some layer 2 magic can happen off-chain, Where does it occur exactly? On the servers/GPUs that devs are already using for the chain? Or does it require new servers “off-chain” than some locations already have? I guess I’m wondering what the off-chain developments entail, and how it easily connects to the chain afterwards...
I'watched it the 4the time now. I think this discussion will kick in soon. There are some more alternatives to named companies; Cartesi for example. But I do believe they are far behind "Optimism". But they are starting on their Optimistic Rollups solution now.
I completed this so technical video of 10 minutes in 40 minutes while making notes to be able to absorb all of it. Blockchain is so very technically advance , every sentence is full of unknown tech jargons. You did explain quiet well.
You're smart. This channel deserves over 500k subs...keep up! Optimism is the most interesting, can't wait for Uniswap L2. Kindly, consider making a dedicated video for Optimism.
DAI, Matic and Keep3r Solves the Eth scaling short term.. Great video buddy. . Make a video of kusama and polkadot, to see the next level of cryptocurrency scaling
Great Video! Would love to see an updated version of this with so many new advancements. We're from the Polkadot ecosystem and in polkadot the solution comes from using the polkadot relay chain or "layer zero" so that you can scale horizontally and vertically without having to "trust" certain things with OP/Zk rollups namely oracles. Not super clear yet but would love an update! Thanks
Nice explanation bro.. Reducing communication latency between L2s like Optimism and Ethereum's L1 without sacrificing security is a complex challenge. Solutions like "Taiko's" based rollups, which leverage Ethereum's security model, offer a glimpse into how we might achieve this balance. It's about smartly leveraging the strengths of L1 to enhance L2 operations, ensuring both speed and security
If you watch all of his videos 2 or 3 times and you invest in crypto market you will be financially free for ever ☺️ I don't know how to thank you for this information.
Layer-2 rollups are indeed revolutionizing Ethereum's scalability, offering a clever workaround to the blockchain trilemma. It's exciting to see how projects like 'Taiko" are leveraging this technology, not just for scalability but also for enhancing security and data availability.
Amazing video, While Ethereum's ecosystem is ripe for such innovation, it's intriguing to consider how alternative L1s might also benefit from this trend. Projects like 'Taiko" are leading the charge in demonstrating the potential of rollups on Ethereum, potentially setting a benchmark for others to follow. I am getting fan of Taiko to be honest they have bright future..
Great job dude, i really enjoy your content, but please take a look at ELROND it's the first layer 2 blockchain who solves the trilemma. Very underrated blockchain, its whitepaper is unmacthed in crypto. Anyway keep up the good work!
Looks like Xdai and Optimism are the true contenders, but Optimism isn't even ready and won't be for another year. Xdai is #1 as a short term solution.
Optimism has better security guarantees than xDai. Synthetix is migrating to Optimism over xDai for this reason. Also, it looks like Optimism will go live on the mainnet either this year or early next year.
You should do some analysis into the L2 DEX 'Leverj'.... Way ahead of the curve at the moment offering 100x leverage on several different perpetual instruments. Currently only has a marketcap of 14mil with a circulating supply of 275mil tokens. Extremely undervalued
This, like other tech/scientific specific instruction, mainly seem difficult because of the unfamiliarity with the terms or application of terms. IMO intentional to dissuade or confuse.
You're doing a fantastic job! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
Excellent video, I would also be interested in a video contrasting Polkadot & Kusama...particularly if a project was working smoothly on Kusama why or what incentive would there be to move it to Polkadot.
Simple and robust way to scale: use another EVM compatible chain.. you get the security, and gas prices and speeds orders of magnitude lower than main net now. In the future, usind EVM compatible sidechains is simpler and avoids Vitalin's trilema. Connecting to the eth L1 is still possible with cross chain bridges
Thanks for the video, it was really informative. It's interesting that Stakenet has introduced Layer 3 by combining Lightning network and Connext. I hope you make a video and talk about it, it's really the future.
Great content, as always! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (air carpet target dish off jeans toilet sweet piano spoil fruit essay). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. This video is really condensed, even though the explanations are very neat.
This indeed is an advanced subject
😂
lmaoooo
This channel makes me feel dumb and smart at the same time lmao
WOW! INCREDIBLE I UNDERSTAND EVEN LESS NOW! THANKS FOR THE CONTENT!
Same here bro. It just goes above head for the first time. It so hard shit
This channel is exactly what I've been looking for! Thanks for the good work
Thanks, glad you enjoy it!
No way, I've been waiting for this for forever!
Thanks! :)
@@Finematics Really great videos.
Please do a elaborate video on each of them in more detail especially plasma, Merkel tree & EVM compatible sidechains

I appreciate your honest take on the risks involved in crypto trading.
Another good video that will explain most discussed items in crypto. Thank you!
You're smart. This channel deserves over 500k subs...keep up! Optimism is the most interesting, can't wait for Uniswap L2. Kindly, consider making a dedicated video for Optimism.
Thanks! Yes, I'll make a video on Optimism before they open the protocol to everyone (which is I believe scheduled for March)
@@Finematics Thanks mate.
This video really helped clarify some of the complexities of crypto investing.

I don't know how to thank you for this information.
"his"
Wow just found your channel. Can't wait to binge :D keep it up man!
The potential of blockchain in various industries is fascinating.
Good info! This was a great breakdown of L2. Matic makes sense , loopring makes sense , we need eip-1559 lolz
I think Optimism sounded what ETH needs.
Xdai is king
Awesome work man! Keep going!
thanks!
As always, clear and concise. Thank you so much
Thanks! :)
This video motivated me to invest in my first cryptocurrency!
Thank you for the video ! It's really good explained ! (From France)

Watching the evolution of these technologies, especially with pioneers like 'Taiko' leading the charge, is incredibly exciting.
This is so much more fun than Netflix
hah thanks
Ethereum website suggested your video!
Your videos are one of the best out there when it comes to explaining crypto but I just cant understand this particular one, this is so depressing :D
Every time i watch an "explained" video, i realize i need to watch 100 others to understand the previous one. Will it ever end ?
This video made me smarter to link the video than to rather explain it to someone.

06:18 caption says "miracle" trees instead of Merkle trees. pls fix. Other than that, good video as always. Thumbs up!
it's an automatically generated caption and unfortunately it's not always 100% precise
According to my analysis, Web3 Infinity INFTY3 appears to be promising. It's captured my interest.
Could you start using timestamps in your description?
Wry good and informative Video ,thank you very much man 🌑✨🔥
Say, Man...you do a great job of explaining this crypto stuff to a newbie like myself. Well done!
thanks!!
very good video thx for ur effort
Beautifully made videos and explanations, I love it!

@@Finematics HI Finematics, may I ask what program you use to make this video. It's amazing.
Very informative video! Breaks down a complicated topic into something easy for dummies like me to understand haha. Thanks!
Brinc (BRC) is a collateralized token (asset) whose price is set according to a linear bonding curve launched on layer 2.
Cartesi is a great example of Optimistic roll ups
great explanation of L2
thanks!
very informative, thank you

Wonderful work

Because Polkadot has more popularity?
Excellent video
Optimistic rollups video please, as it seems to be the only compatible with smart contracts
Xdai is compatible too
Thanks for the video !
You're welcome! :)
fantastic video, thank you so much!!
such a great content with such a low views
You overflow Matic but it is the Layer 2 solution that works. Please more about Matic network
He just did
I am invested into XDai ! lets go !! :)
Been playing around with it too. So cool you can hop in and out of pools and stake for pennies a transaction. Liking Honeycomb honeyswap

Great content! Could you maybe make a video about zkSynk that you briefly mentioned in this video?
Careful : zk roll up can be EVM compatible in 2021 (starkware and zk are )
Metis Layer 2 - L2 hybrid combined ZK and Rollup
Maybe You can do some research on Nash.io
-A layer 2 solution exchnage solution
-layer 1 wallet integrated
-super fast and safe
-non custody
this guy's takes every innovation and put it together
Could you do a presentation about Elrond Network? I saw they are using sharding on their mainnet network.
We're focusing on DeFi at the moment. If DeFi becomes big on Elrond we'll cover it :)

I hope you make a video explaining layer 3 cross-chain swaps, it's allowed by Stakenet DEX.
please do make an update about the OVMs for EVM rollups . and how matic usese them. In one video Vitalik was leaning more toward zkrollups , do you think you can throw more light on why would that be something he kicked about over Plasma or EVMs ?
Will scaling will end after eth 2.0 ?
this video was made 4mths ahead of time. Matic was mention on this video. at the time of the video matic was .01 cent. now $.25. up 25X or 2500%
None of these would be needed if Ethereum was a better Blockchain.
I would like to learn more about rollups
Fruit Rollups
the new video is all about rollups
