I got a Nokia 7.1 + from 2018 so I had to install "open camera" and activate external mic in the settings. Then my wirless mic started to work with my phone. Thanks for your video. I found one more video with information about "Open Camera" here on RUclips.

Thank you! I legitimately thought that the mic was just broken. Once I downloaded the new camera app and initially being very skeptical, I followed your directions and it ended up working perfectly! You would think that the pre-installed camera app for Android would give you the option to choose your audio source, but I guess not!
Either using open camera, u can use G-Cam. Chose gcam which can use "swipe down for external mic) notif when you chose video mode on g-cam. Please pin this, for help other people.

To the point of my comment, kindly share with us what happens to the indicator on the receiver before and after installing the "Open Camera" app. In my experience, the indicator does not reveal any light whenever I plug it into an Infinix or Tecno phone, and the microphone system does not also work with those devices despite an installation of the "Open Camera" app. What can I do, as I have bought the wireless microphones already?
In your cellphone, go to settings and activate the OTG function. If you cannot see the OTG, find the "Additional settings" and the OTG is there. Activate it.

I bought this SNZIYAG Lavalier Microphones but strangely I can record the voice via audio recorder but when I use a video recordedn then the microphones are not being recorded. How comes? I don´t want to install any extra video app for it. Are there no way to get it run with the standard samsung video app?

I have an iPhone mini 12 and did not find your app on the App Store. Instead, I downloaded 4K Recorder (Orange app) and it works. Thank you !
