But after he got me pregnant he kicked me out of his house I'm with my parents and I'm struggling to earn money for me and my baby.. But I'm ready to face anything when it comes to my baby.. Because no matter what it wasn't his mistake to be born so he deserves a better life.. And I'm willing to do anything to get him what he deserves....

I also got pregnant at 19. I’m 20 with my 4 month old son and honestly I wouldn’t want it any other way. I’m in college for early childhood education, me and his dad are doing the best we can, my mom was a single mother of 3, she had my sister at 13, I know first hand how hard it is to be a single mom, and I didn’t want my son to see me struggle just like my mom never let me see her struggle. Never let them see you struggle. Let them see you cry… and then get back up. Was something my mom always said.

This brought me to tears. I became a single mother at the age of 26 when her father committed suicide. Image was only 18 months old and it was the toughest things I had to endure. Future wasn't there for the birth or the homecoming. Her assistant brought her home. He only took an interest in the child when Russell entered the picture. It was never about his child, all the drama was about her being happy with a better man.

This is for someone out there. I know you're crying not knowing how you're gonna make it for you and your family. I felt that way as a teen mother. It hurt to be pregnant and abandoned by someone I was involved with for years. Fast forward 20 years + not only did I make it, but I provided a life 10x better than what I had as a child.. Yes it was hard, there will be tears and sh is downright unfair but you will learn from it and grow through it. God is with you, you can NOT fail you will thrive.🙏

My son just turned 14 and I dedicated this song to him I have had his back and will do whatever i have to do for him he is first over myself and until I take my last breath I got his back. People say you can not see a person’s heart I say they are wrong cause when you see my son you see my heart, you see my love and this makes me vulnerable, humble and strong.
Soooo idk how long it’s been since someone commented on this song, but I recently, like 2 weeks now, found out (via my precious son coming forward) that he had been molested…by my mothers boyfriend…he’s 8..music has always been my everything so of course I looked for some to heal to- thank you Ciara for giving me the one that touched me most!!❤❤❤❤
Thinking of a fundraiser for the very expensive counseling and therapy sessions that are so very needed after something like that, because now that I am in it I’ve learned how expensive healing can be..and I wish it wasn’t..there are some places that do help with that, reimbursement and such- but a lot don’t have it to begin with… god bless and love and so many prayers to anyone who has been touched or just enjoy and love this song for their own reasons, beautiful!❤
