Well they made more sense in the last season, it was war based so power level didn’t really need to pop up, but during the battles in Interspace they where important to have and the play style should have been game like not war like, S2 mixed the two well, S3 emphasis is on war, they did S3 a bit dirty by not asking the other brawlers for help, and they added too many new things in this season, Drago evolving and maybe mutation fusion would have been enough.
Magmel is greatest villain in entire series, he is so powerful that ruined concept of which bakugan can't be in their true form on earth, except when time is stopped.
I personally think Spectra’s the best villain but that’s me. However on the other hand, I think Barodius’ character development is heavily overlooked and I firmly believe that both he and Dharak were both great characters who had character development and are very crucial in the story as well as the bond between Dan and Drago. I think one moment that truly made me appreciate Barodius more was that when he accepted his defeat and fearlessly accepted his death. Granted, Barodius was shown to be a fearless commander and warrior in his own right, but this acceptance came from a man once hell-bent on power and revenge. He considered Mag Mel to be a more evil yet powerful version of himself, but as Mag Mel, Barodius still had some dignity to accept defeat in a dignified fashion, contrary to Nurzak’s words. Despite resenting his previous identity due to his weakness, Mag Mel still acknowledged that he was dealt another ultimate defeat, and that even though he has changed, the outcome of his desire to defeat Dan was still the same. I think Barodius’ acceptance of his defeat and death says a lot about his character.
@@justsomeguy747 I can't tell that Spectra is best villain but yep, he was really good. He had little cringy personality, but it's completele normal when you remember his age. Very good character. I also like prof Clay as psycho villain. The way he joys when shooting little planet from the alternative, causing it's destruction, just to see what his creature can do really impressive... But in this case i meant only just power. Not the destructive one (that's number one is still belongs to The Alternative) but power to change the world. Magmel turned around the entire nature of Earth allowing bakugan to live on it freely. Barodius/MagMel wasn't the best villain or character, but that was amazing action that were missed by almost every viewer of this show. Mechtogans from s2p2 looking laughly after all that. The only one who can compete with Magmel in that were Naga who also changed human world to something in which bakugan can exist. But even Naga's changes were temporary. That's why i called Magmel the greatest villain, he really changed the world, maybe not the way that he wanted, but his actions had their own consequences.
@@harmankang524 There's no indication of that. They somehow used the Gate and Key by remote control to neutralize the Dark Moon, but it's never told or shown that they actually reclaimed it. If anything, it was Mag Mel and Razenoid who fully unlocked their synchronization... then Drago evolved absolutely out of nowhere.
Same here! In fact, this fan fiction should’ve been the arc 2 we deserved rather than the shit we got: www.fanfiction.net/s/7846158/1/Rise-of-the-Red-Hero
I wish they expanded the two parts of Season 4 and made them their own series. Pt 1 of Season 4 could've been showing more details on the brawlers fracture because of Dan's actions and showing maybe even Dan and Drago having another argument that separates them. Pt 2 could be extended into its own Season where it could show Dan discussing his retirement from Battling to see and train new battlers. Could've made Wiseman more dangerous and possibly given more backstory on the Nonets and included more Mechtogan Destroyers, like one for Shun and Jakor as well as Marucho and Ratizen. (They could also have changed the name maybe to Mechtanium Fury to indicate its direct connection to the previous one.) This is just my personal opinion.
What a final battle. Good stuff w/everyone else, and nice that everyone got back from the other dimension. :) And Dan & Drago surviving. Wow, seems there's more episodes, ha.
Kinda surprised people said the 4th season sucked, it's honestly pretty good. Glad I decided to pick the show back up again and just ignore people saying it sucked.
@@ataberdi2064 season 2 I’d say was the best for sure. Did everything a second season should do. Brought back most of the core cast, introduced new characters and used them to give new arcs to old ones, expanded greatly upon the in universe game mechanics, and had multiple stellar villains, one of whom had an admittedly sudden redemption
@@BlazeKnight_95 That _is_ what he said, but it wasn't at all true. Before Drago had even _met_ Dharak, Drago had gone through MANY evolutions and power boosts. However, when he fought Dharak as Blitz Dragonoid, he got thrashed by Dharak. And Dharak had _never_ even evolved before in his life; he was _always_ that much more powerful than Drago! Only when Dragonoid Colossus and Dan helped Drago to unlock his True Evolution was he able to defeat Dharak, but not until after so many evolutions and hitting Dharak with his most powerful ability at close range _three_ times before Dharak was defeated.
The Greater-Scope Villain no you are wrong. Dragon was never thrashed by Dharak. Every time they fought Code Eve interfered. Watch Gundalian Invaders. Code Eve said so herself and besides Blitz Deagonoid beat Phantom Dharak at the end of Gundalian Invadors.
@@dankuso8414 Blitz Dragonoid got thrashed by Dharak in the episode 'True Evolution', Code Eve did not interfere to save Drago there. Despite Drago's many evolutions throughout his life, he was never mighty enough to defeat Dharak. Even with the power he had as Blitz Dragonoid, Drago lost to Dharak. Only when Dragonoid Colossus and Dan helped him unlock his "True Evolution" was he able to defeat Dharak, and only with Drago's most powerful attack hitting Dharak _three times_ . Until that point, Dharak had always been more powerful than Drago. Perfect Core? Nothing. The Element? Not even close. Blitz Dragonoid? Pathetic. Dharak had always been mightier until the true evolution and unlike Drago, he had never even evolved once in his life. Every time Code Eve intervened in their fights, she was saving Drago from a _sound_ thrashing and quite possibly death, until Blitz Dragonoid was able to unlock his true evolution with the help of his friends.
The Greater-Scope Villain you must not have watched that episode to the end. I just did. Dharak did not thrash Drago at all😹😹. See the thing is Dragonoid Colossus said that Drago’s evolution was only his starting point that Blitz Dragonoid was only half the evolution. Dharak’s power level was already that high so Drago evolving to Blitz was to make him equal to Dharak. Yes Dharak didn’t evolve once until he fused with Drago’s dna but we are not told why his power level is so high. Drago won the battle in the end if you remember in the episode true evolution Drago unlocked the Spire Dragon ability. Dragonoid Colossus said Drago and Dharak are even in power so Drago needed to attain true evolution. Besides the perfect core is not even talked about in Gundalian invaders because by that time the ancient warriors of vestroia were dead and if you remember in the first season when Drago became the Ultimate Bakugan his power level was 1000. Luminous Drago has a power level of 1000gs and Blitz Drago seems to be the same meaning Drago has surpassed the perfect core. Don’t you remember when code eve gave Drago her powers he finally attained his complete evolution as titanium Drago? Please I’ll admit Drago struggled against Dharak 😹😹 but never say Dharak thrashed Drago that is never true😹😹😹. Plus Titanium Dragonoid has a power level of 1100 making Drago himself far more powerful that the perfect core. As to how Dharak already had such a high power level I’m not sure but Dharak is powerful I’ll admit that. The funny part is Phantom Dharak is actually his real name so I don’t know why the emperor called him Phantom Dharak when he evolved 😹😹
I watched all bakugan seasons. I only cought myself watching New Vestroia over and over again. It was like the best season ever. I feel free to say seasons 3 and 4 suck... In Mechtanium Surge I love only episodes where Spectra and Gus appear hehe.
Yeah me too. I like the first two seasons most. Season three is okay (actual i only watched se3 because i like ren) but season four... Is really, really bad. Just like the episodes where Spectra/ Keith, Gus and other older characters are in.
@@jonathondallon6865 well, Dragon Eternal Force is Fusion Dragonoid's Perfect Core Ability and Drago has a tendency to delete folks with the perfect core, if there's no other choice he did beat Dharak back in Gundalian Invaders with Blitz Superior, an Ability that taps into the Perfect Core (for some reason, they decided to take out the Perfect Cpre motif off the cards, since Drago doesnt completely rely on it as much as before)
+TheKpa11 yeah remember how hard was to defeat Naga and Zenoheld? and afterwards they celebrated and said goodbye. Here it's like *defeats Mag Mel in one blow and barely escapes from his lair* "yeah no big deal" feels so rushed for a cool arc.
@@skar8009 I agree. The _only_ thing I really find wrong about this season is how quickly they were able to defeat Mag Mel and Razenoid, despite all the great stuff they had done leading up to the end of their evil plan. Mag Mel and Razenoid were canonically _WAY_ more powerful than any other foe in Bakugan before, and so the way in which they fell was too easy in my opinion. But apart from that one thing, I thoroughly enjoyed this season, like all the others.
Season 4 part 1 was a nice course correct for the bad writing in season 3 (actual consequences and drama for the Dan/Drago wank, even if you knew status quo was gonna return, and Mag Mel/Barodius evolving past being inferior Zenoheld), but the series becoming a weaker Pokemon/Digimon with extra steps, the terrible use of a rotating cast, and too many marketing gimmicks at once were still tumors that held the season back. Making the MCs extremely unlikable through excess drama and in-fighting didn't help either.

“Stop living in the past drago” that’s rich coming from you dharak that’s the whole reason for this war. Still trying to proof your number 1 when your not.
The Sacred Orb... BY FAR. The Sacred Orb is INFINITELY more powerful than the Perfect Core. To put it into perspective, The Sacred Orb is merely the vessel for Code Eve, a god-like entity who is essentially the creator of all Bakugan. The Perfect Core and everything else in the universe - including Neathia, Gundalia and New Vestroia - were all created simply as a BYPRODUCT of a battle between two of Code Eve's creations: the original Dragonoid and Dharaknoid, the first ever Bakugan. So the Perfect Core isn't even a _fraction_ of the Sacred Orb's power.
@@thevisitor1012 Not necessarily. Code Eve, the creator - and essentially God - of the Bakugan, offered Dan and Drago her full powers, but they refused to accept them, on the grounds that they had no desire to rule over them. Dan and Drago only receieved enough of Code Eve's power to evolve Drago into titanium Dragonoid. Emperor Barodius and Phantom Dharak on the other hand, desired that power to control all Bakugan, as well as everything else, and so when they attempted to forcibly take the power from Code Eve and were imprisoned in the Dark Reverse Dimension, they managed to make off with a limited amount of Code Eve's powers as well. This power combined with their unparalleled negative emotions of anger, hatred, etc., and mutated them into Mag Mel and Razenoid. It would appear that Barodius and Dharak made off with more power than Code Eve granted Dan and Drago, as unlike Dan and Drago, the two most evil beings in the universe were able to, amongst other things, spawn limitless hordes of Chaos Bakugan, Mechtogan and Mechtogan Titans, and have complete power over them. They could create intelligent lifeforms like Anubias and Sellon, and could perform feats of magic/superpowers beyond anything ever seen.

Power levels make bakugan more interesting imo
Well they made more sense in the last season, it was war based so power level didn’t really need to pop up, but during the battles in Interspace they where important to have and the play style should have been game like not war like, S2 mixed the two well, S3 emphasis is on war, they did S3 a bit dirty by not asking the other brawlers for help, and they added too many new things in this season, Drago evolving and maybe mutation fusion would have been enough.
Exactly
I don't think absolute villains like Barodius and Darak would be caring and sentimental enough to do that.
6:31-6:34, since when did Drago learn how to do the Final Flash
i agree
EZ.BARODIUS.ES.DHARAK
And it's over 9000 !
@@alihamza14729 yrr
Magmel is greatest villain in entire series, he is so powerful that ruined concept of which bakugan can't be in their true form on earth, except when time is stopped.
I like him a lot into original barodius. And hate him so much in mutations into mag mell
But it was genius to make him mutated from the power of code eve
That's why i called Magmel the greatest villain, he really changed the world, maybe not the way that he wanted, but his actions had their own consequences.
i kind of agree with mag mel concerning drago's evolution.....
What did it even come from?
@@arikutin1032 His _hubris_ according to Mag Mel 😂
Ari Kutin Because he and Dan reobtained the power of the Gate and Key, remember what happened to him the last time tine he got it?
@@harmankang524 There's no indication of that. They somehow used the Gate and Key by remote control to neutralize the Dark Moon, but it's never told or shown that they actually reclaimed it. @@arikutin1032 Mag Mel Dan and Drago said they were going to take it back, and Mag Mel indicated they did by what he said after.

I don't think Code Eve had done it. It was due to the hunger of power and great amount of hate they had got them become terrific monsters
Dharak sure had an ugly evolution....

Welcome to Super Drago's BIG BANG ATTACK!
(They could also have changed the name maybe to Mechtanium Fury to indicate its direct connection to the previous one.)
This is just my personal opinion.
Agree with you.
What a final battle. Good stuff w/everyone else, and nice that everyone got back from the other dimension. :)
And Dan & Drago surviving. Wow, seems there's more episodes, ha.

I heard clearly, You were never better than me, Dharak
Interesting note, this was the first time since season 1 when dragon evolved through battle experience instead of through gaining a power up
Omg 😆 your so right

Skar800 still better than Season 4B.
@Andrés Obregón Orejarena I agree.
6:34 when drago steals vegeta's Final Flash
If the Lasers where aimed to the earth core are the brawlers the defenders of the core?
Remember in gundalian invaders when dharak used dragos dna to evolve . If he hadn't done that he wouldn't have survived into this series .
When did drago learn final flash?!?!

Wow drago did final flash
Which is more powerful the perfect core, sacred orb or fusion dragonoid?
@@TheGreater-ScopeVillain It should be fusion dragonoid right? He has both the core and the power of the orb.
