Messy time consuming work that is tough on the shop area , but it sure is cool to see any old body repairs like a detective , would be great to see tips from start to finish. Great filming and content.
Keep it green. Would a heat gun be better to loosen the stuff in the drip rails. Old lacquer likes to gum up sanding disks and stripper works. Graveyard Cars knows a great place to dip it in hot solvent. The plastic covering keeps the stripper from evaporating too fast and lets the stripper be more effective.
Nice project so far. JF, did you film this project ? Would you consider using vinyl wash primer to protect the metal ? Thanks and take care. Roland (Rol).
Would appreciate learning more about the thought process in doing a repaint. Assuming that the present paint couldn't be saved. May want to clarify whether the car originally came with the Hemi as that wasn't clear. Thx
One more thing before I leave never ball up rags or plastic with chemicals in it and throw it in the trash you'll burn down your shop. speaking from experience....
Honestly i would never use stripper again. You get a guy each side with a nylon stripper pad each side and that roof would be linished ready for etch primer in half an hour and you wont have issues with paint reaction later and its a mess you dont have to deal with. Just sayin been down that road before. 😁🇬🇸👍
Beijos!
Só clássicos ❤
Definitely use the plastic film it'll save you a ton of time and money. Keep up the awesome Kustoms.

Why would someone wanna kill an original paint hemi road runner!
New paint is a better protector than old lacquer. It will look much better with new paint.
There only original one! For that matter it's ruined now it wil;l never be the same car.@@JonStein-mu5eb
My friend Graham’s car… You guys did a great job on his 69 I can’t wait to see how the 70 turns out…
VOCÊ É MUITO BONITA MESMO VIU
Awesome video 👍. Love watching this stuff. I’m assuming it’s going to be the same colour, or is it?
Yes
I'd be wearing a respirator working with that paint stripper, it's extremely nasty.
If that was a original paint hemi road runner this isn’t gonna look good for your shop to be the one to wreck a original paint car.
