- This video is featuring Bronson Lovell, an Alaia shaper from anahola Kauai. The Alaias are thin wooden finless boards whose history traces back to the people of Hawaii. The alaia’s roots span back a thousand years. Lala is the Hawaiian word describing the action of riding an alaia surfboard. Lala is a word found in the Hawaiian dictionary meaning ‘the controlled slide in the curl when surfing on a board.

Hey just wondering if you could help me find a template for an alaia... around 6 feet tall. Been looking at dimensions and drawing one up from the in a 1:10 scale but it just doesn´t look right.
Any help would be appreciated
