Hey Adrian! That's a great question. Honestly, the answer is yes--but it's much tougher without hands-on guidance. Focusing on softening the muscles at the end of the collarbones, releasing under the armpits, and allowing the shoulder blades to be supported and mobile on the back can go along way just through giving yourself "release cues"--mental messages that help you to gently deactivate muscles that are working too hard. For many of us, having someone to help us build both this skill and more body awareness is necessary before it can have full effect. I was thinking of doing a video soon with a short exercise that can help create space in this area--it is a less effective long-term solution, but still can be very useful. Would that be helpful to you? Thanks for watching.
@@freedominmotionalexanderte41 That would be helpful as I do not have any alexander technique teacher nor do I know somebody who can guide me hands on with that, your upcoming video would be very useful for self teaching how to do it thank you! enjoyed your videos
@@freedominmotionalexanderte41 Thank you! Been waiting for another video about AT because my body feels really weird and I can't play the piano that long because it causes tension to my body hehe
@@adrianpaolomonterey4948 Check out the new video at the link below! I can't say it will fix your problem, but I hope it helps a little bit. I gave you a little shout out and am quite embarrassed that I mispronounced your first name, which I only realized today while editing--please excuse the error. I hope you enjoy and please let me know if there is anything else you would find useful to see on this channel--I'm going to try to release a new video every couple weeks. Thanks again! ruclips.net/video/Kzu4bQjhoNQ/видео.html
