Just got a k90 for free. Im impressed it wasnt too gross. Just had hair and dust. No finger cheese lol. Soaked the keys in soapy water. Now drying. My leds are pretty busted as well
I have had the k70 with red switches and red led for at least 5 years now and it's still rock solid (even droped whisky on it a few times). And my backlighting is still going strong no problem there, maybe a k95 problem.
@@sheryarhk backlight is still working, my switch just worn out after a year then sent it back to them. I think it's better to get a hot swappable keyboard
Is this normal, i buyed such a keypad used, they say its only nine month old. But when i press fast at a arrow button at the side, and let go in a little bit of flip move, the key cap pop out. Is t his normal with such keypads that they key caps are not so secured on the switch?
Main board fails on the new one after about 2 years. Build quality is really good other than that. You will lose control of your rbg in about 1 year or so depending on use.
Same situation here. I had this keyboard for almost 10 years... its one of a kind. It got beer, tea, soda. i was working on it few times soldering. its like and old friend. But it started duplicating bcoz of the stress it got and the leds went shit too. So i have bought a Ducky one 3... i have some issues... pros and cons but we will see... How about your new k95? Are the leds better on the newer version?
i love the look of the keyboard and the pbt is so nice but the brush metal and that hideous font i cannot stand. I really prefer the old keycap font they used to use
Do you want 18 macro keys? Get the old one imo the new k95s should not be branded as so as the whole point of the k95 was the have the extra macro keys without it you might aswell just get a k70 and save some money 💰as the only difference is 6 macro keys.. not worth the extra imo Edit: there is also a RGB version of the vengeance k95 if you don't want just white backlighting

I'm really disappointed cause lowering it from 18 down to 6 is a loss. Imagine the possibilities with 18 extra keys. Editing via Photoshop is really easy! Commands requiring 2-4 mouse clicks can be achieved with 1 key. This is a great loss. They could have made the new version into K100. This 2 keyboards definitely differ on functionality. **Face Palms**
I own a k95P, and may i ask, how is that an upgrade from vanilla k95? Because other than more rgb it's pretty much a downgrade (yeah, I know, xt version comes with base pbt doubleshots, but I mean, is it really worth with this font anyway?)
It really is a downgrade I'm still using my Corsair vengeance K95 RGB since 2015 because no keyboard on the market has the 18 Gkeys the are amazing in MMOs and general windows use :)

I prefer the old Corsair font over a new one though. It’s beautiful and professional!

Upgraded after 6 years? I am still ising my dad's 1985 IBM ps2 mechanical keyboard. I don't miss not having a Windows key either.

i have a 8 yr old blackwidow smashed and whacked ....still one of the best keyboards to date.......
