jackson robinson was nearly the entire time in the chat, you should have him too in one of the future episodes
I'm not sure if you mentioned in the video, but the main problem with non-fulfillment is the mysterious disappearance. Where did the creator/money go? The backers just want closure. It's wrong to imply backers don't understand the risks of backing when it's written all over the wall.
Really loving the series - especially this one. Great tips for prospective campaigns throughout.
Glad you like them!
Hello, I would like to speak with a manager.
I have a problem with my order.
Yes, granted Kickstarter is not a store. I think everyone with half a brain is aware of the possibility of non-fulfillment. I think what people expect, myself included, is SOMETHING back. I know I'm supporting an artist, but I'm doing so for a specific project. If that specific project never sees the light of day, what did the money go towards? Surely the acquired funds were meant to cover everything from A to Z, so if hiccups started at G, suddenly you had to shell out to N and that's when you gave up, give me back my money from N to Z. Why would the creator keep the whole thing with the knowledge that they will no longer be moving forward with things? Idk when it's going to feel appropriate to talk about VXD, but when that time comes, I have thoughts to share.
Please feel free to correct me if I'm being short-sighted.
Not at all. And although your example is relevant, I wasn't really talking about one project in particular--more so in general!
