  • WW2 Metal Detecting. I found a silver medal next to a destroyed tank on a ww2 battlefield!
In this video, I showed a search with a metal detector on the battlefield of the Eastern Front of the Second World War. I found a lot of cool finds! I hope you enjoyed my treasure hunt.

Are you going to get that Red Star researched ? The serial number looked like it could be read. It would be fascinating to find out if it is connected to the tank. I have 3 Red Stars and have had them all researched, they are a fascinating item. The Soviets always had men attached to every unit watching who fought hard and who didn't. Bravery was rewarded and the citations for items like the Red Star are often quite detailed.

There is currently no access to information. We are at war with Russia, and the archives are there. I only know that the number of the star is 1942. I don't know if the star is related to the tank, but two stars have already been found there. There is such a roadside ditch, where Soviet soldiers dumped their dead.
