Some Masters are almost too revered to be close to. There is an aura of deep respect, praise and for some reason engendering a feeling of contriteness; yes, call it humility and even some fear in me. I have experienced this unfortunately many times. Probably, unfortunately, almost definitely, my own inferiority creating that emotion. But, never with Swami Satchidananda. It seems that he made sure to alleviate that psychosis in a student. Maybe his journey was more humble and downtrodden. But when he became a Master, he retained his absolute humility. So, he appeared to me like a friend or older brother. Very easy and relaxed to be with. Sensitive, smart, witty, wise, comical and helped you to move along in a friendly reassuredness, a guidance and always a humble proclamation, "I did it, so certainly so can you." He actually had a way about him that taught you by being below and inside of you. Never seemed to force or dominate. Just sort of spoke some sense and when you saw the sense of it all, you agreed and changed direction. "Jaya, jaya, jaya, Satchidananda" and thank you, my dear friend.
Just imagine the radiance of Swami Shivananda the great master who was a guru to many gurus in the world.
This is probably the most enlightening video I have ever seen on RUclips 🙏. I am not just a drop in the Ocean. I am the Ocean.
