    We saw one in a shop for sale brand new. I think it was 1962, and the reason we stopped is my father could believe there was such an engine.

    Twin Cylinders, 6 speed, 10.8 HP, 150 LBS, top speed 108 MPH, not to shabby

    If only my '63 Runpet Sport had an alloy cylinder and maybe a 4 or 5 speed gearbox (had only three speeds !), and a longer wheelbase, and ...well, you can get the picture..;)..! The bottom end didn't last but about 3,000 miles as I recall. I worked for the dealer in the day, the Tohatsus didn't rise to a reliable status with us. The R. Sport was quicker than the Yamaguchi 50 though and it had a four speed.

    If that’s only a 50 cc motor and it’s a twin cylinder then that means the pistons are about the size of a quarter
