Tip: If you put too much liquid in your mashed potatoes, add some instant mashed to thicken. I just keep a few bags of the "4 serving" packages of instant mashed just for this reason. It works great and all you do is stir it in you soupy mashed ones. Love your videos!!

The chairs have held up really well, it's the table that fell apart! I think it's past the point of repair, but I think we got our $20 worth out of it lol
Summers..as a kid, two week camping /road trip with family, swim team at the pool, play like crazy with the neighborhood kids in one of the 7 or so back yards on the block, as an older kid, teen, hang out at the pool, then work at the pool. Good times.
The Krusteaz brand of honey cornbread- we eat it like cake. 🤣 it’s so good. So sweet. Growing up, my mom always made Jiffy cornbread (so good) and added TWO CUPS of sugar to two boxes of mix. Now I cut that in half for jiffy and it’s still super sweet. But she was from Louisiana and I grew up in Texas. And when my CA husband began eating cornbread he didn’t understand why it was so sweet.

I was very young when my grandmother passed away, but I remember hearing family talk about all the nice new towels and sheets that were unused. When I think about saving things for another day, I think of that. I wear my new clothes. I use the new sheets and towels. Today is special. Use the stuff.

I think the patio table is so funny because there is a place in the middle of the legs for an umbrella but no hole in the middle of the glass tabletop. Lol. Obviously it was replaced at some point. I do like the rug! As far as the table and chairs, salty Florida air wrecks everything so keep it until it falls apart!
Kim, I always enjoy hanging out with you and your family. Yesterday I got to hang out with my youngest Great Grandchild before she went to dance class. What a joy she is at 6 she has no idea how much joy she puts in my life. I showed her pictures of me when I was about her age. I would have loved to make videos of all the places we lived. Just didn't have the technical things you have available to you. My Granddaughter's do and this is such a great thing to be able to do in ones lifetime for all your children to view someday. Makes sense about the potatoes and the instant pot, Kim. When you boil them on the stove, you also cover them completely with water, or they can burn on you.

I have not tried them, but a friend got a rug from Ruggable. I'm soooooo tempted. You peel off the top and just toss it in the washer then it reattaches to the no slip back. They have a ton of sizes and designs. Seems so convenient!

We had a ton of rain in Palm Beach County, FL too. It's rare, but I ❤️ it too! Don't know about you, but it puts me in super cleaning/cooking/ laundry mode! 😘

I have not tried them, but a friend got a rug from Ruggable. I'm soooooo tempted. You peel off the top and just toss it in the washer then it reattaches to the no slip back. They have a ton of sizes and designs. Seems so convenient!
I wouldn't recommend it. The edges turn up after a wash or two. Swell Entertainment did a good review if you want a more in depth, not sponsored review :)

Spay paint the table, you could do green if you want. It will freshen up the look and make it last longer. Learning how to cook watching you!!

Oh my gosh I remember the dress only phase! I slowly got her into shirts by getting the ones with ruffles on the bottom. I miss those days!

Such a great video, I finally have a once upon a child near near I went into the store for the first time recently I love I have 4 nieces the older 2 are teenagers and the younger 2 are just turned 2 (June 4th) and a 1 month old now I know were to go to get the younger ones some stuff since they grow so fast

We're going on vacation with my husband's family. Being married into a rich family is a whole new universe. I grew up poor and our vacation was cedar point once every few summers lol
