HI BLIMEY! I rarely leave comment on RUclips but this time, I'm having the urge to do so bcs I'm so excited after watching you guys enjoying Nasi Kandar! Fyi, the vegie dishes mostly taste the same bcs they're usually cooked in the same way and the basic sauce used is oyster sauce. You can make a vegie dish in a short time tbh. Just slice some onions and garlics, add oil, the sliced onions and garlics, some oyster sauce and then add the vegies. Seasoned it with some salt and then you're done! For the fried chicken with sauce, usually I called it "Ayam Pedas" and some people call it as "Ayam Masak Merah" as well. It is easy to be done too. Maybe you can try to cook it in future. The recipe can be obtained with one single click on Google /wink/ Enough of my ranting I guess. Btw, I'm totally enjoyed watching the video. Hope to see more of delicious "Food content" from you guys soon! Good luck! ^^

12:30 answer for that's question, because the quail has a different taste and texture compared to chicken or duck. Especially when it was deep fried, we can eat them with bones itself. Really crunchy and it's like a whole new level.... 😋

the reason the chicken was chewy because it's not ordinary farmed chicken. "ayam kampung" literally translates to village chicken which means the chicken is organic and free range.

Nasi Kandar Pelita, well, it's one of the most expensive restaurants. it's actually a chain franchise across Malaysia and they also have branches in India. even though it's not the ideal nasi kandar place to go to but it's the closest you can get to the source and birthplace of nasi kandar, Penang. The restaurant originated from Penang. Must eat at Hameediyah Nasi Kandar if you are in Penang. awarded the oldest nasi kandar restaurant in the Malaysian Book of Records. It is out of this world!

pelita can consider best mamak restaurant in term of food taste, and price also really best.. 💸💸 😂🤣, but worth it laaaa.. spend rm20-30, can tahan for 1day.. not bad la, skip bfast n dinner, eat for lunch only.. nowdays also economy very hard 😅.. Try mahbub restaurant in bangsar, nasi briyani n ayam madu.. taste great also, sometimes sold out.

basic dish normally we order fish, beef, lamb or chicken, followed by vegies and kuah campur 'mixed sauce'..papadom or crunchy snacks is a must!
