I remember as a kid Squire coming to my church and singing, quite often. He’d even come over to my grandmas house and she’d always cook him a big meal. He loved that. He’d sit and talk for hours. The man is so down to earth.
Josh, your uncanny wit , musicianship & talent are really special & hard to come by in today's gospel music! To the degree that you "make it happen" has in my opinion, not been achieved in my almost 60 years of being exposed to gospel music. You made this Squire Parson's song "brand new"! I have watched this one certain video over and over on different days. And God has ministered to Me so strongly There's a man who plays a Guitar and has sang this song at our church for years... He's very dear to My wife and I. He's like 85, but still plays and sings His name is Aaron. Years ago He was in a Gospel singing group with My wife and her Dad.... But he also sings songs like the Lighthouse, and Who Am I.... I can see where he doesn't get around like He once had... But I admire Him for his faithfulness.... Also in a time that I was in very need of a miracle... Your song here, God blessed Me, ministered to Me, and Gave Me great peace in the midst of a storm.... Plus one of your other videos on .... Fear Not... My wife as My witness.... God took the fear away! ... I don't do much myself, but I cook BBQ for our church....
