Just spoke with our travel agent, and the prices have definitely dipped after the inaugural. RCI is smart - they knew it would be filled with Royal Loyals and RUclipsrs. Thanks for making the sacrifice and showing us this amazing ship. Love your channel!
We did Liberty this past December, and doing Allure in April and Grandeur in November. That’s plenty of variety… Icon is a bit rich for us at the moment!
The truth is sometimes difficult. But so is earning money. We just want to tell you what you need to know (and we wanted to hear) before making an $8000+++ purchase.
I feel like the high prices on this and upgraded Coco Cay experiences will alienate many that are loyal to Royal. Not sure what they are thinking, honestly....

Thanks for going for us. We could not figure out the budget for this sailing. Maybe someday we will make it on inaugural ship crossing fingers. The pearl was a eye-opener as we thought it was going to be different. However, I am still waiting for Tim on the Flowrider get out and do it Tim worst case is you fall and get wet 😂 best case is you have an awesome video to show off
The prices are INSANE for self-booking! Best bet is to jump on a group rate with a travel agent at least 9 months out we're hearing. We're going to test that. More soon.
It's my understanding that the structure of the Pearl is what allowed them to create that giant wall of windows you're sitting in front of. Your review is so funny and honest. I can't wait to cruise in July. It looks like they've fixed a lot of the quirks of the Wonder. One thing I never see in reviews - does the cigarette smoke from the casino carry into the dining room like it does on the Wonder?
Heard this too but it's probably false. There are several poles supporting the structure on the outside of the pearl itself, which provides the infrastructure for the window area. Carnival Mardi Gras has had an even larger window structure for a few years with zero pearls. We were SHOCKED the casino already smelled like smoke after just three sailings! Good news is we never smelled smoke in the dining room - although we did smell some sort of sewer-type smell directly outside the dining room on the 4th night. Nasty!
We paid $5,000 all in with the premium drink package. You must be in a much larger suite for $8,000. A poor, curmudgeonly Larry David wannabe, INMH. Sour attitude by the dude.

LOL! To be honest, there's not a lot of cool stuff on the walls. And the artwork on the stairs isn't impressive. More like Chilis!

YIKES! There were TONS of Peggy and Peter Pinnacles on this sailing. It did seem to skew older. Middle of the school year I guess.
