Wait till he finds out narwhals are real
I still can’t believe some people thought those weren’t real. And I’ve known about them since…pre-K or kindergarten and I’m 28 now.
@AngiraBlu96 I wholeheartedly believed they were fantasy creatures until a few years ago, sooo :)
@@Egorator I swear the learning curves of my generation and later ones are concerning. 😓
@@AngiraBlu96 Maybe it's an old speaking in me, but I sometimes feel that too, even though I know it's not true. Every generation when it gets older starts talking about how stupid/wrong the youth is nowadays, but chances are you know way less than many of them and could use to be humbled a bit.
@@Egorator Yeah, that’s something that bugs me, too. Feels like I can’t keep up w/ the times like I used to, sometimes. Things are just feel like they’re moving so fast.
I think bricky was actually thinking about mosasaur but I think it's still funny that heavenly thinks that megalodons didn't exist
That or Shastasaurus!
Bricky very much was thinking megalodon, because of the fact he said it was the animal from the movie The Meg starring Jason Statham.
If you're going by sheer size, then yeah a Megaladon is the biggest. Those fuckers ate WHALES.
I can't believe Jason Statham isn't real.
Heavenly Father proving to never step foot outside. 😂
@HeavenlyFather The species "Megalodon" was real, but it went extinct. The movie surrounded the idea if it still lived.
Poor Heavenly doesn't know that people still find the teeth of Megalodon's on beaches even to this day.
As a prehistory fan, this caused psychic damage to me
Melody gave me the most physical damage, Brontosaurus is not even a carnivore
My grandfather was a geologist who used to take his daughters to the cliffs in Newport Beach on weekends to dig for megadong teeth. So I never got to live in blissful ignorance of it being a real thing. :`[
Megadong D:
Megaco (gunshot to the head)
Heavenly just pulled a froggy
How does heavenly hang out with russianbadger the shark lover and not know of megalodon
He knows about it, he just didn’t believe it was real
I literally was thinking Livyatan (species of sperm whale), but then I looked into it more and their about the same size as our modern sperm whales, which I didn’t know!
That's what I was thinking to since they were known for being Megalodon killers
It's the blue whale. It feeds on tiny, shrimp like crustaceans called krill, which technically makes them a carnivore
It as much heaveir than megalodon though so technically larger in that regard
sperm whale?
@adammukhriz7624 don't think so, the orcas might be better contestants to the title. But today's biggest carnivorous animal in the sea is the sperm whale, in land is the polar bear
Megalodon is real!
She streams on twitch
Bruh Heavenly got his russianbadger treatment. Badger thought that the national treasure was real, and then heavenly thought the megs dont exist
The blue whale is actually the largest carnivorous animal to ever live.
Oh damn yeah. They eat krill. Granted, it’s the largest we know of.
@@loganb7059 Let's be honest, anything large then that, we'd know of. It's the same reason we know the Giant Squid is still alive, and how we know Megladon isn't. Anything that large isn't gonna just be chilling down at the bottom of the ocean undetected.
@@aoisky9 yeah. What I was meaning was largest we know of in natural history. IE theoretically we could find fossil evidence of a larger whale or something
Even by dinosaur standards, the T-Rex is still not the biggest. That title goes to the Giganotasaurous.
No not really t rex is actually the largest and heavyest predator I would know I seen the papers of it
Heavenly be the goofiest ahh of the bunch right now
Damn, Heavenlys public schooling is showing.
Heavenly out here being a fossil denier
To be fair to heavenly, the amount of people that will try and convince you the Meg is still alive today is enough to make anyone convinced it's just the bigfoot of the ocean.
That depends. Overall, the top 3 are 2 whales and an ichthyosaur.
• Blue Whale ( _≈110ft max; ≈275-300 tons max_ )
• _Perucetus_ ( _≈66ft max; ≈60-115 tons max_ )
• _Ichthyotitan_ ( _≈85-?115?ft max; ≈70 tons max_ )
_Otodus megalodon_ doesn’t even come close, especially in females ( _≈67ft max; ≈68 tons max_ ).
What disappoints me the most…is Mel not knowing her paleofauna. 😅😓
She's working on 1 barely conscious brain cell, give her a break
@@Social-Injustice-Goblin Those sizes, however, are what I’d seen female sizes. Apparently, the males were smaller. … As far as we know. Then again, we’re talking about a cartilaginous fish that ate whales like Big Macs. So skeletal finds are rare. Imprints might be better, maybe. But still a tough find. Like that mummified _Homotherium_ cub they found a few weeks ago.
Lyviatan clears all of them
@@DezaltOfTheDreg Weeell, thing is Melville’s Livyatan is smaller than a Sperm Whale, but it did have the biggest teeth of any carnivore. Its hunting habits, however, were probably like a Sperm Whale/Orca mix.
@@DezaltOfTheDregIt doesn’t
God damn this sounds like it was an incredible show
The largest has to triassic Icthyosaur Shonisaurus
Depending on the definition of carnivore it could be the blue whale
@@JohnathanJWells What is your profile picture from?
@@mixednarwhalMonster Hunter Generations Ultimate
@@TheTrueUltimateGenLifeform Thanks! And do you know what the monster in the profile pictures name is?
@@mixednarwhal I think Vaal Hazak
The "dinos shark" is a Mosasaur, a massive marine reptile. And it was still smaller than the Meg.
Heavenly my man you can’t be making fun of Froggy every other stream and then pull this out brother 😂
Heavenly is gonna give me a brain Aneurysm...😳👃🩸🧠
Not even the largest carnivorous dinosaur sadly, but will always be my favorite dinosaur.
T.Rex is those case where you found out that Jurassic Park really nerf the gal to oblivion
To answer that question, it's your mom
The answer is the blue whale
The answer was...your mother.
I am the most original man to exist.
Just because there are lots of videos of proof that Megalodon isn't alive today, bro think the entire existence of Megalodon isn't real as well
Largest carnivore would be the blue whale since it eats krill and maybe the occasional fish on accident. Second would likely be Shastasaurus at it's known 70+ ft length then Meg in the three way tie for third with Livyatan and Modern Sperm whales. Basilosaurus could be longer but it's not larger since it was basically a hyper aggressive sea noodle.
In terms of pure size wasn't the Basilosaurus the biggest? Or is it one of those whale-like Ichtyosaurs?
EDIT: I just realized the Krill are crustaceans, so doesn't that mean the Blue Whale is the largest a carnivore?
Blue Whale is correct
Oh my gods, is this Heavenly's National Treasure???
Every Vtuber is a perfect example of Dunning Krueger
That's a NA education system moment
That prehistoric whale, the levythan or whatever its name was.
Nah, unfortunately that one isn’t even close to being N.1, the largest Carnivore to have ever lived is the Blue Whale
@ATMEIDAREYAIDOUBLEDAREYA Yeah I searched it up afterwards. The blue whale out classes everything.
@ It sure does lol
We often talk about how great animals in the past were but it’s also so cool that we get to live during the same time as the Blue Whale, the largest animal EVER (that we know of lol)
Holy fuck as a paleo lover this one hurt my soul lol
I wish Jason Statham was real
If i was to guess. Is it not the blue whale?
Yeah
Otodus Megalodon is actually speculated to not be as big as people originally thought it was, being more like maybe 40 feet than 60+ feet. Therefore, the largest carnivore was probably something else, perhaps a mosasaur of some kind. This concludes my "ermmm akshully" moment of the day.
Good lord heavenly 😂
It's actually a creature originating for Arkansas.
Its called CaseOh
It's not real? It was a fake documentary? Oh my God he's talking about the MEGALODON LIVES shark Week mockumentary made by the same people that also made the MERMAIDS THE BODY FOUND mockumentary on animal planet
What animal was melody trying to say as i couldnt makenher out from all the laughing
Brontosaurus? I think atleast
I’m somewhat upset the answer wasn’t part of the clip
NA Education
What did the answer end up being? To me, it's either the sperm whale, livyatan or the blue whale if we wanna split hairs.
It's the blue whale and no hair splitting necessary, it eats other animals, it is therefore a carnivore.
So what was the answer? My guess is ichthyotitan, but I'm not 100% on what we know about their diet if anything.
Unless we're counting blue whales, then obviously them. But if he meant active predator, then yeah idk.
It was blue whale
Blue whales are active hunters. They swallow entire schools of krill by ram feeding.
I... all right, fine, I somehow never clocked blue whales as being carnivorous despite their diet being krill.
I also thought megalodon.
Or _Perucetus_ . But it’s more than likely a tie between it, Blue Whale, and _Ichthyotitan_ or just them in the top 3.
@@AngiraBlu96 The Blue whale is the only one we have actual weights for, and not speculative ranges.
can't be teh t-rex cause gigas were bigger... >.>
No, Giganotosaurus was not bigger. It was taller, but not heavier. When it comes to animals, weight is what decides size.
Wait is it the blue whale? They are carnivores
If you want to get really pedantic, the answer is unknown. The bounds of the question encompass too much. It is all of the universe and time. Even if we limit the question to Earth, we also will only ever know a fraction of the animals that used to exist. They have to die in specific ways to be preserved and only a handful of environments allow for this. This is why we have so many swamp and ocean fossils. We will never know what desert, savanna, etc. dwelling dinosaurs were like.
Every question of this type has an unspoken "that we currently know of" caveat attached to it. There'd be literally no point in asking if we conceptualized it the way you did. I know you admitted to being pedantic, but damn, this is the event horizon of pedantry - the point where basic functions of language start collapsing lest we explicitly state everything taken for granted. Sheesh!
I swear this is still wrong tho right? Unless we are talking in terms on length and not weight
good lord my oshi is stupid
BLUE WHALE
Blue Whale, as far as we know.
Ithyotitan could probably beat it if we had more data.
On a side note, we need a VTuber that does paleontology content.
I plan on doing some paleontology content in the future, but no promises
Blue Whales, actually
ok but what was the answer to the question?
Blue whale
Krill and plankton is a form of meat, thus makes Blue whale the biggest carnivore and animal to ever lived
Iirc the T Rex isnt even the largest land based carnivore, I think the Allosaurus had a few feet on them. Heavenly was wrong on every level he could've been.
Weight is how Scientists determine size, and Rex is MUCH heavier then Allo.
If they used height then Giraffe would be larger then Elephants.
Elephants are the largest modern-day land animal due to weight being the main factor.
@spider-soniczilla2989 Theoretically, anyways, considering that for all our advancements in science time travel, and thus providing damn near anything about dinosaurs, is still well off the table.
So what was the answer?
Blue Whale
My guess was the Mosasaurus, but damn, i guess it was the Megalodon.
Though seeing someone else answer the Blue Whale in the comments here, they might got the answer correct themselves.
I think it's the whale shark because it's a filter feeder and it's eats little creatures so it's a predator and it's the biggest fish in the ocean, I think bigger than the megalodon
It's the Blue Whale, for the same reasons you listed for Whale Shark, but even bigger.
Lmao I love that heavenly is the only sane one. Megalodon didn't exist and we have no proof. This host is mad stupid😂
are you slow or just bad at sarcasm?
