3 steps to achieve kushoo (the humility, fear and love before Allah the most high - we want it because our salah is empty! our salah is nothing without kushoo! just aerobics.. so..)?
1. Remember the afterlife, the last day, where we will be sweating to our necks and bare before Allah
2. Know the meanings of what you are saying in salah
3. Take your time.. in your conversation with Allah the most high.
We wouldn’t rush for a job interview, meeting with a boss or meeting with a potential spouse! And like time flies while speaking to a friend from the past that we missed, we don’t count the minutes, so in prayer let’s not be wary of every moment like ‘when is this imaam gona finish?’ - When asked Musa AS what was in his hand, Musa AS couldve just said ‘my stick’ - simple answer. Except that he responded elaborately; ‘this is my stick, I lean on it and bring down leaves for my sheep, among other uses’. Let us be so keen to conversatie with our Lord the most high as our beloved Musa may peace be upon him
Also pray like you can see Allah S.W.T in front of you, if not, as if He can see you…
