It's an incredibly cool feeling to look at a 6+ year old game and feel like it's only just the beginning.
Not even condidering the years its been in development before it came out. Wasn't it like 2009 or 2011 when they announced the stw trailer?
@@weegee3917around there yeah, I remember being a middle schooler and hearing about a game called Fortnite that was Minecraft with guns, then being blindsided in highschool and hearing about a game called Fortnite that was PUBG with building.
Meanwhile the actual fortnite died in 2018. 6 years later and we still have non opacity HUD elements that look like placeholder.

With fortnite adding all of these new modes and giving love to every gamemode, i feel like this would be the perfect time to start doing regular updates to save the world aswell.
I think they've long since abandoned Save The World. They'd probably only give it more attention if it suddenly got a big surge in players and kept it for months on end...
Or if they made it free
it'd be sick if they overhauled it / actually finished save the world and then made it free
I would love this, a complete overhaul as a cherry on top and maybe a physical release, they'd make money no doubt. This concept is why I started playing any of this in the first place so to go back and have them make it up to those fans would really make the whole platform come full circle as one big Magnum opus from Epic.
This hurts to say but Lego Fortnite is probably taking that flame as their pve experience , honestly it will flow better with the kids if I’m being honest

for the absolute least, I'll be happy with a just fitting ending to the story in a fleshed out game whether you *constantly* update the game like you do to the other gamemodes or not.

You won't even have to start from scratch, most of it is already there. Just flesh it out and complete the story, and to put it into fortnite terms- it's a free kill. Take the shot, it's just another way to make more money.
Maybe just maybe we got the time finally that epic cares for stw again because of this multiverse thingy they prepared for this for over 6 years and well they can bring back they original game which made them so big
im still hoping for a "twine peaks" story line, with the last new event mode we got a peak how the final zone coud look like. But we still got nothing new.
What STW misses is something like a cosmetic b-pass, or something like a stw-crew pass.

My wishlist for what's next is for a fighting game mode, where your moveset is defined as a certain archetype and you are free to use whatever character skin you want with it.
Kinda like how with Soulcalibur's create-a-soul system you could make any sort of character visually and have them do any moveset.
We also need sports game modes

A super smash clone seems the safest bet, but I'd personally like something like Soulcalibur. If I'm being honest, though, an MvC style game would be pretty nuts too.

For OG Fortnite 2 they should make it so u can access an old battle pass u have purchased and they should add an additional style for certain skins so people will know that they got it OG

But stop expecting from Epic Game executive team to care for this game mode because they clearly don't. I just think that players should stop having this illusion. They will stop being hurt every time.

I absolutely LOVE all these recent updates, but not so much "buying cars" for rocket racing and "buying songs" for fortnite festival. I get that they have to make money somehow and these modes were expensive to make and release, but I feel like they should at least be a little cheaper, or give us some to work with from the start for free...

It feels like a new chapter has just begun for me in terms of gaming, and I am happy to be playing Fortnite and enjoying it ever second of it. It is a game that will never go stale for a good while and new players are going to be joining in everyday. Even though it is called Chapter 5 Season 1, for me... it feels like I am playing Chapter 1 Season 1 when it comes to games that became game changers.

Epic games should consider adding prone to Fortnite. You should hold down the stick for crouching to prone. Proning is useful for snipers

@@jrevolutionz it depends. If you’re sniping from a hill or hiding behind something and crouching just isn’t enough, going prone could be a good addition
@Steepless maybe as an augment that let's you slide around like a snake (think of prone crawling but you can boost like a sprint for a few seconds)

I have a of theory that might explain why peely is missing.
I think that he was teleported to LEGO Fortnite. Some of the villagers in the game mode explain that they fell out of rifts in the sky, and rifts can teleport people to different places. Peely might have ran into a rift and got sucked into LEGO Fortnite.
I miss when fortnite used to be so simple.
Simplicity is what got me into BR.
Simplicity kept me here when PUBG was available, when Apex took some of our players, when CoD came with its more realistic graphics.
I always liked the simplicity of BR, and learning a new skill that differentiates this brand.
Goodbye Fortnite. It was a good 6 years of fun.
