Back on the Sun and Moon Show, I never really understood why Eclipse hated Sun. It always felt like the story was focused on how Moon left him behind and how angry it made him. Any time I can remember Eclipse talking about why he hated Sun it was about Sun being dumb and Eclipse being trapped in his head. It felt more like he should only be a little annoyed at most and I didn’t get why he wouldn’t talk to Sun in the beginning. As far as I could tell, Sun didn’t actively do anything to him until he banished him from his head (after that the hatred was understandable). On this channel though, we are able to see Sun and Eclipse interact together; and from the very first (if not second) interaction I can understand the hatred. This episode especially highlights how Sun had more ability to hurt Eclipse than perhaps even Moon. It wouldn’t have helped matters that Sun and Moon were constantly talking about getting rid of him. If Sun had actually come across Henry early on, it would have been the end of Eclipse. He hated Sun because he was terrified of him.

Poor eclipse, I know he had trauma from like abandonment, but it was so much deeper than we thought. He scared of dying and losing control of the body like both sun and moon used to, And I know he used to hate moon and sun, but we never really got specified on who he hated the most. We all assumed it was moon, but maybe it wasn’t that he hated the most. Maybe it was based on the nightmare he has and how he yells at son and how he is getting along with this Moon and having a brand new start, eclipse has a more deeper meaning now in the story and I am very glad for how they’re building up his story and character. it is also adorable to see him play with moon at the end and doesn’t yell at him to get out or anything and moon was about to leave. Tell him to wait and ask him to give him a minute
He's mad at Moon because he was ABANDONED. He WAS Moon. He's mad at Sun, because of both how he acted towards the 'two' of them in the beginning AND because he was trapped in his head. He's mad at this Sun still because he's EXACTLY, like what Eclipse hated MOST about Sun. He's young and naive, a little idiotic- But this Moon? It's a Moon BEFORE he was ripped out. It's a Moon before Eclipse started existing. Meaning, in some way, it IS still Eclipse. Not to mention kinda hard to be mad at someone who you can relate to and doesn't even sound like the other Moon- he just wants to play games and hang out with other people.
I legitimately feel bad for Eclipse! 😢 I mean, yeah, this isn't the same exact version of Eclipse, cause of dying and being brought back so many times now, that he's kind of mellowed out since the beginning, but the anxiety and PTSD is no less horrible. It's something he still has in common with the original Moon. Much credit to Davis for his realistic performance here! I've suffered panic attacks and have had flashbacks to traumatic events. They're not fun, and Eclipses' character had a legit full on panic attack after waking up from that nightmare. Nice to see the character exploration/study done here! Great job all around! 🧡🖤
The fact that he berates himself for not realizing it was a dream and for even having the dream in the first place is so heartbreaking. It's trauma, Eclipse, and being back in a place like this is bringing it back to the surface. It's awful but it's normal and you shouldn't be angry for being scared
Ever since Solar died Eclipse has slowly but surely been creeping up the ranks from being one of my least favorite characters (least favorite as a person, not writing-wise) to one of my favorites, and I think this episode might've just solidified his place in the #1 spot.
Now, Eclipse now knows what the original Eclipse went through, even though he has all his old memories. Guess there's a difference between remembering and experience that.

to hear genuine fear in eclipse, his voice feels very weird, but also very scary. It’s clear that there’s some trauma that he has gone through. That hasn’t been talked about now we all know that SAMS sun didn’t mean to her eclipse because he didn’t know eclipse was there however it’s clear that when he found out clips did exist at least something wrong with his code eclipse was clearly scared out of his mind not wanting to die, but also being tortured with pain anytime sun moved to hear him cry out stop here 4:58 with a voice crack and everything like that just makes the scene so much more authentic Davis did an incredible job
Wow.. I did not expect that at all. Eclipse just being in a state of genuine fear and desperation to not be trapped and or killed really took me off guard. Gotta admit, while he's not the greatest guy around, I felt really bad for him having that nightmare, it was so bad that he even hyperventilated in his state of panic. It's good Puppet helped wake him up, I don't know if that recharge station for flashlights is such a good place for him. While he didn't want to at all talk about his nightmare to anyone, it was good Puppet, Sun and even Moon checked up on him. When he sat there on the floor behind the counter when Moon came to see him I felt my hear breaking for him, he really was just coping with this on his own. The fact he had it before in the past though really goes to show how bad the separation got to him at the time, I wonder what side effect he's talking about.. Poor guy.. (Meanwhile Sun sent a love Letter to Foxy and Puppet got reeeeeaaal protective of Foxy fast, lol. Sun is gonna need to find someone else to date unfortunately for them, haha.)
Poor clipsy :( Seeing this is really sad, he does not trust anyone yet to talk about this, and he seemed so scared. He didn't deserve any of this, since the start he got abandoned by moon, then got betrayed by lunar... He never got treated well by the celestial family, and he's afraid history might repeat itself, the separation, a new eclipse getting created, and everything happening again :(

Also something about Eclipse's and this Moons friendly-ish relationship is kinda nice.
to hear genuine fear in eclipse, his voice feels very weird, but also very scary. It’s clear that there’s some trauma that he has gone through. That hasn’t been talked about now we all know that SAMS sun didn’t mean to her eclipse because he didn’t know eclipse was there however it’s clear that when he found out clips did exist at least something wrong with his code eclipse was clearly scared out of his mind not wanting to die, but also being tortured with pain anytime sun moved to hear him cry out stop here 4:58 with a voice crack and everything like that just makes the scene so much more authentic Davis did an incredible job

Wow.. I did not expect that at all. Eclipse just being in a state of genuine fear and desperation to not be trapped and or killed really took me off guard. Gotta admit, while he's not the greatest guy around, I felt really bad for him having that nightmare, it was so bad that he even hyperventilated in his state of panic.
It's good Puppet helped wake him up, I don't know if that recharge station for flashlights is such a good place for him. While he didn't want to at all talk about his nightmare to anyone, it was good Puppet, Sun and even Moon checked up on him. When he sat there on the floor behind the counter when Moon came to see him I felt my hear breaking for him, he really was just coping with this on his own. The fact he had it before in the past though really goes to show how bad the separation got to him at the time, I wonder what side effect he's talking about.. Poor guy..
(Meanwhile Sun sent a love Letter to Foxy and Puppet got reeeeeaaal protective of Foxy fast, lol. Sun is gonna need to find someone else to date unfortunately for them, haha.)

Seeing this is really sad, he does not trust anyone yet to talk about this, and he seemed so scared. He didn't deserve any of this, since the start he got abandoned by moon, then got betrayed by lunar... He never got treated well by the celestial family, and he's afraid history might repeat itself, the separation, a new eclipse getting created, and everything happening again :(

I think Eclipse is having a PTSD attack, I know from experience because my dad has PTSD, and he used to have them all the time…. Poor Eclipse, I don’t think he ever wanted to be that way ever…..
That trauma is definitely hitting him hard now that he has no distractions, and he's basically back in the exact same setting that started all of it

Moon’s greatest fear was being stuck in his own head during the Killcode situation… Eclipse is Moon… I never stopped to think about how horrifying it must have been to wake back up in Sun’s body after separating. Unable to speak or do anything for the longest time… I think he’s honestly afraid for this dimensions Moon to go through what he did or something worse…
Edit: Oh crap if you think about it like that Lunar abandoned him for himself… I understand why he has so much resentment towards Moon…
