- The countdown to outback stripers and winter flounder in New Jersey is at 23 days and ticking down! Until the end of February, the best salty options around are cod, pollock, ling and blackfish with the for-hire fleet at the Jersey Shore, or soaking bloodworms in back bays, rivers and creeks for white perch. This Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday, and we're out in Palmyra with just 80 Danco pliers (4:15) for new and renewing subscribers; get there early while supplies last! We'll also run through other weekend events in the Garden State, Jenni has a sneak peek (8:30) at her ladies only seminar, we have a freshwater update (9:27) with hardwater report from the Pocono Outdoors Guy, and finally this week (12:35) an incoming Secretary of Commerce who says, quote, "I love to fish." We look at a pair of NY Bight cabinet selections by the White House, how that could impact coastal fisheries, and the latest headlines on industrial offshore wind at the Jersey Shore; appears as if Gov. Murphy is folding his hand while the chips continue to fall. Next week, we hope to dig more into the latest "DOGE" efforts at NOAA Fisheries, and will provide more information on upcoming seminars in the New Jersey, Pennsylvania region; see links below for more details.

Great info about incoming policymakers also being fisherman. Go Birds!
You are the best hacked out there. I really enjoy your videos. Hope to meet you one day out on the water.
This hack would welcome the meetup, hopefully it's during a mad dog blitz! -JH

Not tired of winning!
things are shaping up nicely :)
I can't take all the winning. Make Fishing Great Again
We're ready to see a new low in resource management-- already fighting clean water regs. Who would think Trump will do better, his record is dismal
Certainly a lot to keep our eye on Tom. -JH
