The LOWEPRO shouldn't have any zipper problems - especially for the price of it! As of 20 minutes ago, I just ordered one of these drone backpacks. I'm intending its purpose for my new 150-600mm lens. I didn't notice that it had a hip belt whilst reviewing it on the Amazon website. I'm glad you mentioned it! I myself prefer a waist belt for the extra support during a long hike. Looking forward to receiving it soon. Thanks for your review!👍👍
It's hard to beat the features and price combo of this. Personally, I would had liked the opening to be behind the bag. This keeps it secure from five finger discounts when in dense urban areas as well as cleaner deployment. It is more natural to plop a bag down and flip it on it's face than on the back where it touches your clothing. While much more expensive, the Shimoda bags seem to be really neat and is a scalable/moldable system.
If you're going to do a comparison you should be using the newer version Lowepro Protactic AW 450 II, NOT the old Lowepro backpack which came out around 5 years ago.
I have that same bag. I agree, it has lots of storage options. I was keeping my drone in the top compartment. But I will need to try your method of storage!
Its a great bag! It definitely exceeded my expectations. Yeah it works out well for me. I like having my camera in that pocket ready to go as I use my camera more than my drone
Thank you for another great gear review! I just ordered this bag and am going to put it through the "full 10 hr day of wedding photography at a snowy ranch" test :)
Great review Brady, thank you for doing such a thoughtful review. For me, being a landscape photographer, it's unimaginable that it doesn't give you the capability to strap down a full-size tripod. That's a deal-breaker for me, so thanks for pointing that out... I'll keep looking. Happy shooting!
I purchased one and I can fit 2 cameras plus lens in the main compartment and another camera and lens and accessories on the top compartment. It's a great deal of a bag and price..... 5 stars rating.
Man, you just solved my life. I was going to get the LowePro, but this just turned out to be the PERFECT backpack for my BMPCC 6K. Thank you so much. I also make filmmaking content, but its been a while since I dont upload any video, and it's in spanish... You have a new subscriber! See yooooou!
Great review and very helpful. Always nice when a reviewer actually uses the gear than just promoting stuff along with how you use and customize it. Think Ill be going with this pack for my new canon m50 and gear. Thank you! Totally earned this like and subscribe.
There are so many types of camera bags! There were many bags in the world that were not found in Japan, and the video was very interesting. It was helpful. Thank you! With love from Japan :)
Yes, definitely I still love this bag! I just did a "whats in my camera bag" video where I talked about how impressed I am with it holding up for the price! Cant go wrong with this bag!
I’ve been looking at all of these expensive ones (I do love peak design, but I just can’t afford their travel bag and no longer like their everyday that doesn’t fit my needs any longer). But this one looks like a terrific alternative.
@@jeffbrown8117 those large Peak design bags are way over hyped imo.. I've used them a lot and I really dislike their design. I Just ordered one of these instead, u get 1 yet?

Great review! I appreciate that you point out positive and negative points and explain it in a way everyone can relate. Thanks for sharing!
This is the bag I was looking at, I was recommended a lowepro, I still prefer this one
It is a great bag for the price. The zipper on mine finally gave way but was happy with the couple years I got out of it

Hi there thanks for the video. Is it possible to fit a gimbel somewhere?
Yo do you have uv filters on all your lenses or are you just leaving them in your bag without the protection caps??
Thanks for the review man! You're just not a lens cap guy?
How did you guess? Haha. No not the front ones. I don't even know where any of them are. Lol I do leave the back ones on though.
Glad you liked the review! 👍
The best backpack for 2020 and 2021 is the Lowepro protactic aw 450 II
I been looking at it, and I'm leaning towards it..
Yep. I think the only bag that can top it is a future version of it that don’t exist yet.
Thank you for doing this review. I think this is exactly what I need.
Glad it was helpful!

Was it the pro tactic 450 2?
No way! My lowepro bag just started doing the same thing with the zippers!😭
Great review! I like that top pocket! Do you still like this bag? I’m looking for a backpack bag now

Wow! Seems like a great bag for 100 bucks! Thanks!
Awesome bag!

Bummer. Amazon says it’s currently unavailable.

The bag has been holding up great! ive been super happy with it!
That bag needs wheels with all that weight!!!! lol
