- Hello friends! In today’s video I’m cleaning 🧹 the house! It’s Christmas week and I want my house clean before the holiday. Christmas morning always creates a crazy mess so I want to start with a clean slate!

If I could make a suggestion on your laundry folding, it would be this. Fold each load as it comes out of the dryer. If you sit them in baskets and you compile baskets, the task becomes too overwhelming and chances are it won't get done. I don't like folding clothes either, but I found that if I did certain things to cut down on the overwhelming task, it made it a little easier. I was a single parent with three small children and worked full-time. So, every night when we took off our clothes that was a load to wash. I would stand at the dryer once they dried and fold them as they came out. I also would put all of the socks into a garment bag before I wash them so that I wasn't trying to find them in the confusion. I don't like folding socks. Another trick I did was having crates for each one of the kids that I would put their clothes into once they were folded. The kids would take them and put them away. Well, they did that until they hit their teenage years and then they wouldn't do anything! Haha. Another suggestion I have would be for you to carry a large laundry basket with you when you walk around picking up items. What I would do at the end of each night is carry the laundry basket into the living room and fill it up with everything that didn't belong in there as I went through each room of the house I would redistribute the things that belong there. I would also lay the laundry basket on its side and sweep all of the small toys into it. This saved my back from having to constantly bend over picking them up. When my kids were growing up they liked Happy Meal toys. Needless to say, there were a lot of those there! Your house looks great! But out of everything you do to clean it, vacuuming is my favorite thing to watch. I don't know why, but you just make it look so fun!
And one last thing, there were times when I wasn't consistent with the laundry because I don't enjoy doing it. So, I can understand you having overwhelming mounds of it. It doesn't take long to accumulate, and if you don't like doing it it makes it even harder. You're doing a great job!

Good job! It’s mid April and I just found your channel and I’m a new sub. Very motivating. I can’t watch cleaning videos of already clean houses lol. Very annoying. You keep it real and it’s good to see other houses as messy as mine. Helps me realize I’m not alone and it can be done.

It is much easier when everything has a place and after using, put it back. I only do laundry that I can wash, fold and put up which cause for me to wash every time a get a load.
I fold my laundry as it comes out the dryer and you'll never have that problem again
