- President Joe Biden blamed jet lag for his poor performance in last week's debate, telling reporters he was "not very smart" because he "travelled around the world a few times" before the debate.
“I didn’t listen to my employees…. then I almost fell asleep on stage,” he said.
Biden, 81, concluded his most recent trip on June 15, nearly two weeks before the June 27 debate. The President's comments came amid panic in his party about his mental state ahead of the November election, with a Texas congressman calling for him to step down after becoming the first Democrat to do so following a debate.
Republicans Overseas UK chair Greg Swenson argues that Joe Biden's performance in the presidential debate could be "election interference".
"It continues to be elder abuse but the fact the White House has covered this up for three years! This scandal has been exposed."

Where is Health and Human Services to come in and assess or assist Biden? What about Adult Protective Services, APS, where are they? I think different factions came up with this debate to settle their differences. The pro Biden side wanted him to stay in, other factions thought he should drop out. They argued and set up the debate to see what the public think.

Look, I'm all for calling out Biden and the Dems for all this ridiculous old man stuff, but to sit there, straight faced and not call out Trump for a ton of the same behavior is unreal. Calling out Biden for being volatile and angry while Trump is his opponent and not mentioning it's a major issue for Trump too just goes to show this information isn't being delivered with an ounce of neutrality. It's an entirely partisan conversation and threfore the contents are as garbage as any left wing partisan conversation.
