I went with my 11 year old grandson. It's been good to re live it again, sat down with a cuppa. My grandson has added a small video of it to RUclips, a new little venture for him 🙂👍

@MrRnipperBrockleBroadcasting we'll try and get to that. It'll be another video for him to make. He's really enjoyed creating them at the moment. He keeps filming his model railway and posting a few 🙂👍

No I didn't fly a drone in the roundhouse! The "aerial" shots were taken on a DJI Action 4 camera attached to an extending "selfie stick".🦡🦡

I was especially struck by that second-to-last shot, with the live steam model chuffing along next to the real thing. Puts things into perspective just a bit!

Really enjoyed this video, a very nice overview of the event. Thank you for sharing !
Could someone tell me what brand and model, the loco and 2 coaches are, seen at 1:15 min in to the video? ( dark blue loco and light blue coaches )
Also, is there a website for the Dixon Green Light Railway ?

Glad you enjoyed the video. As far as I’m aware Dixon Green doesn’t have a website. It’s owned by the Yorkshire 16mm group, was largely built by Phil Thompson, and generally offers younger modellers a running opportunity at the National Garden Railway Show. Hopefully someone will identify the loco
