Very well done....I wish you could somehow make a video like that where the fog begins to go away for the sunlight beginning to come in.. As a kid I played soccer on Mondays on the Amstelveld where the kid is juggling his soccer ball. What memories...the building where the kid is use to be a church, now used as an office of some kind...I remember it was very cold in that church because the floor of the church were the same street bricks of what is outside. You had cold feet coming out of that church in the winter....
Thanks a lot! Wow then this view of the kind must exactly be like a flashback! Thank you for telling me this nice anecdote, loved to hear it. I heard from someone that you can now have lunch or dinner in that building
This is probably one of the best walking tour videos I've seen, the first area in the first seconds is heaven for photographers (I guess you do photography too since you always focus on spots that are unique and amazingly framed and artistic) can you please tell me the name of the first area ? I'm coming to Amsterdam soon and would definitely love to shoot some photos there
Wow, thank you for your super nice words! It is so nice to hear this after putting in all the effort, and it is great to see that you recognize what I want to achieve! I attached the exact location of the start of the video in the link below, and this general area is called the 'Grachtengordel', which is arguably the most famous part of Amsterdam with the most beautiful canals! Enjoy Amsterdam! For sure you will take loads of nice photos 🙏 maps.app.goo.gl/Qvf6TLQAhy18UAfB6
Another excellent video and walk. Question. If you know, are all those bikes rentals or do people own them? I can tell you over here they wouldn’t stay left like that too long
Thank you! Interesting question! Most of those bikes are owned by people. Since a few years, rental bikes have increased in popularity, but there are still way more bikes owned by individuals. The funny thing is that there are more bicycles in Amsterdam than there are people living there. I can imagine its not the same in America! But if you have an expensive looking bicycle here, you can also count it that it gets stolen. So a lot of people ride cheap looking bicycles or have 2 or 3 locks on the bike to protect it.
@@JeronimoAmbiencethank you very much for answering, that explains why there are so many. Another excellent video. I don’t fly so you are showing me places, I love the rain and night videos. Thank you again
Ha! You must be one of the few people who wake up in Amsterdam and think, "Yay--Fog!" 😁 Thanks once again for a nice morning while enjoying a cup of coffee in Texas. It's almost like being there without burning the calories...almost.
So funny to read your comment because it is spot on. When it's raining or foggy, for that matter, I get excited! Years ago, I did not feel that way, but because I make these videos, I definitely become excited when it happens. 😆 Thank you again for your nice comment, and hopefully you enjoyed your coffee!

The mist gives it a 'Dutch Masters' feel.
I really love your country very much. Your country is really very beautiful. I really want to become a citizen of your country very well.
I love misty places
Me too, hope to film more videos like this soon!
