so many things learned from tjis podcast. things he said about psychology and strategy is great, one mighht have great controlled psycholgy but his strategy might suck . suppose one does breakout trading and has great strategy then, from his strategy his sl is gonna be higher than tp, here a good positive psychology couldnt help a trader and ive experienced this in the past. even if one has great psychology , confidence, patience or any other positive aspect of trading, he's still gonna lose . so, conclusion is that the strategy should be great and frm here we can say that ICT has done great things for the mankind in this entire world. thanks for this amazing podcast again, i can write pages about this podcast but mine fav is about his words on strategy and psychology
In the past month oil went verrical through the prior days high 8 times and reversed, gold 6 times, oil had 5 short squeezes off the low of the week. Thats 20 massive scalable opportunities on 2 trade setups that a child could learn. That once anyone learns asks themselves the question not can i make money it's how much do I want.
The domino effect is very true as you said. I have been financially supporting my father for 7 years now on minimum wage. Last year i managed to pass my first funded account. A small account, 50k. But he then asked me for money soon after i had the account for health reasons. That all domino effected straight to my trading as i thought to myself “i need this money now” and soon after i lost the account. Too this day i am still supporting him by myself when he needs money. But things will soon change, they must and it will. I’ll make it happen
listening to all these traders learning curve and losses, i feel im lucky or smart!!!!!!!!!!! coz i have leart in less than a year that too casually which is making me consistently profitable . lets see in a year if its that long consistent
the main problem of all traders are when they hit stop loss few times, they stop believing that system. that's all. if your trading system is proven statistically and you stay on it. then you'll start to see that your balance actually growing up by week and months. THAT'S YOUR REAL TRADING JOURNEY BEGIN. the hardest part is to find the right trading system for yourself because it take years. the best way to do it is create your own strategy from the scratch.
it is just simple. When emotions is invloved, when monetary goals is also involved, it is going to go wrong. The mindset of I have to make this, I have to make this back, I have to make this to complete a certain phase. When you allow yourself to feel all this. it just going to go all wrong

Options and futures trade are more harder than currency trading .
Options yes. But I prefer futures to forex. I think there’s a lot more manipulation in currency and shady brokers. Futures regulated
