There's nothing Ibibio about this. I'm ashamed the Ibibio marriage custom has lost it's authenticity. Where is the 'Nda usung mkaprawa' where the youths of the area mount a road block to stop the groom. Where is the part the bride is given wine to search and identify the groom in the crowd? Where is the part the women bring veiled ladies and ask the groom to lift the veil he thinks is his bride's? And many more distinctive features that make Ibibio wedding unique. This is a sham.
