Usually clocks like that use the ac adapter to power the lights or sound and the clock itself is powered by batteries. So that is why I think he said the clock needs a battery.

I started watching reseller videos several years ago. I think Ralli Roots was the first. One thing that I noticed was that Ralli Roots would go into thrift stores and find several very valuable vtg t shirts almost every time. I was fairly new to reselling at the time, so I didn't think there was anything unusual about that. Now that I am a seasoned veteran to reselling I am certain they had an arrangement with the thrift stores to bring in the t shirts to make good videos. Hey, if that is what they did not a big deal. Makes for a good video. You have always been real. I have been watching you for years. I have tapered off on Ralli Roots and some other old RUclips resellers, but I still watch you quite regularly.
Just something to think about. They probably go into tons of thrift stores. Just because every video they make has a good find doesn’t mean they find something every time. They could go it to ten and not make a video bc they find nothing. Also the area the live in is pretty good for finding Vtg tees. I know I go to plenty of sales and find nothing. They usually don’t appear in a video.

I’ve been to thousands of yard sales and hosted hundreds of them and I’m the only person I’ve ever seen give the person more than they were asking was me and not one person has ever given me more than I was asking after thousands of yard sale sales. Lmao
The diecast can be extremely slow sellers. I sell a bunch and have many more listed. Some go for really good money though. Revelle are just horrible even brand new in the box. Action and Team Caliber are better. GMP and some others can be better yet. Sprint cars and funny cars do better than NASCAR as they aren’t produced as much. As someone who sells quite a few, I think the $75 was a ok price seeing that you got the autographed cars. $50 would have been better though. Great haul though. Have a great day Kevin.

When all you picker guys find an item selling for $1.00, or some way too low amount, that you know is worth way more than $1.00, you should pay them more than the $1.00, especially if you know you can sell it for $100. They are usually people who are not wealthy, who are doing a yard sale to make a little extra money. And I feel it is taking advantage of them to only pay $1.00 for a $100 item, so think about that. You could pay them $10 or $20 for it and tell them you will re-sell it and still make a good profit. Then you will fell better about it, and they will not get robbed because they did not know the real value of what they were selling. I watch a lot of the picker videos on youtube, and I cringe when I see one of you guys get something for $1.00, when you know it is worth $100, or more. It actually makes me a little mad, that you, and other pickers do not pay them a little more then their asking price, when you know it is worth way more than what they want. And a lot of the time after robbing someone for $1.00 on a $100 item, you go running to your friends and brag about how much you robbed them by getting it for so little money.

You make many assumptions in this statement along with many moral judgements that when played out paint a very different picture than what you have just painted. Most resellers are anything but wealthy and they pick from people who have far more then they do. They flip items and use the profit to pay off their own debt. To put kids through college, pay the bills. What you are saying here is actually wrong. You have called me and others thiefs when we are not. Bearing false witness must be ok in your book. If someone asks a dollar for something and you buy it for a dollar that is 100 percent ok. If someone wants to pay more that is also 100 percent ok and should be aplauded. In fact if you want to send me 100 dollars and will triple it and give it to the next person at a yard sale that is deserving of it and in need. I think it's a great idea and I'll put it on a video and give it all in your name. For most it is easier to spend other peoples money than to actually do it themselves hopefully that isn't the case with you and you take me up on this offer.
I see both sides of this. Selling all these shirts is a LOT of work...but if the T-shirt lot is worth $400 bucks..I do agree that he could have paid up a bit. How much risk are you taking on $40 bucks you just turned into $300-$400. That would still only cost him $1.33 a shirt. Still would have been a healthy $260 profit even if he only got $300 total from the lot...on the other hand...you gotta know what you have...and also...sometimes people just want it gone. It would have ended up at goodwill or sth if not sold here.

That is not correct. Signed is worth less unless by a top racer and COA provided. Those were not and did not.
