The narration is awful, seems very climate-changy which I'm genuinely sick of hearing, don't need it in my games. However, the environment is gorgeous. I think that even if the story turns out to be preachy and awful, I'd still give this game a try solely based on how pretty it is.

Absolutely not. The story isn't about climate change at all, or preachy in any way towards any modern issue. It'll try to be deeper than anything superficial like that. It's about fatherhood, the meaning of humanity, the meaningless of war. I believe that true epic stories need to be timeless and respect storytelling like archetypes that Jung and Joseph Campbell talked about, it's the only way to touch people on a limbic level. I sincerely hope you check it out and enjoy it, and it leads you to ask inner questions. Thanks for the comments! 🙏
