I’ve been having a Mama to Five marathon. I didn’t realize I had gotten so far behind. It’s been nice!
Loved the milk in a bag explained. I asked that very question many years ago and what icing sugar was. 😀

Keeping some bananas in the fridge will ensure that they don’t override. Don’t be scared off by the peel getting dark, the inside still stays solid..

We haven’t had milk in bags in Sask. that I remember. We had glass jars wayyyy back when.🇨🇦💕👍

The milk is hilarious haha I've had to explain this to friends so many times and I always feel like I'm explaining rocket science and they all look so intrigued like how do you pour it from a bag hahaha! It's so funny. So weird they were missing a bag! I've never seen that! 🤔😅

I grew up in Minnesota and we drank bagged milk. It was so much cheaper than buying it by the gallon. It was only sold at a gas station local to the Midwest though - Kwik Trip Gas Station.

The worst part about moving to BC from Ontario was the lack of milk bags. I never got used to the cardboard milk. Bags all the way!

Dry pint is 12 oz. Still a pretty good price for blueberries

It’s crazy how pricey apples have been. I’m from BC and I remember my parents buying milk in bags but at some point it switched to plastic gallons

Right? I’m sure we’re only a couple of weeks away now from apples being in season and under $1/lb!

In extreme summer temps, I buy organic bananas….they don’t ripen as soon as you pull into the driveway lol Also, never mind our bagged milk, I always though Capri Sun/Kool Aid pouches were odd. I mean how could you NOT squish it out by accident? There’s no holder for them. 😂

Where do you store the unused milk?

What do you mean unused milk? All the milk bags have to be refrigerated.

Oh ok. I’ve never seen this before. Makes sense.

I end up using one of the produce drawers in the fridge to store all the bags.
