I also play this piece and I was wondering wether if Gary Ryan (the composer himself)
would play 4 counts after the first bar (even in the fairly high tempo he is playing it)
and he doesn't and as for me it doesn't make sense either. But as for your playing:
It always surprises me! Soulful, musically, a beautiful tone and very well played "in time".

Thanks to you, I gave Augistine imperial blue a try after >20 years of being a regular user of D'Addario and Savarez Corum Alliance. Back in the day I never liked the augustine's much, I believe they improved quite a bit over this period and the Imperials are impressive. I live the tone, the rich basses and the cristal trebles are a very good combination for my Casimiro Lozano guitar. Let's see how long they will last for. If they are on par with the daddarios I'll make them my favorite set.
