This video reminded me of a quest in the edge of the trees just past that last bridge where one was tasked with finding & destroying this one wicked skeletal knight that was slaying people and then collecting their EYES... O_O
the thought of these starting areas being now completely unpopulated makes me immensely melancholic for some reason, it's crazy. I still remember vividly several dozens of players roaming Humberton at the same time back in 2002... will keep that memory forever I think, like if it were about some real and tangible place
Except for the Halfogre, you can find the classic DAoC experience over at www.uthgard.net I wouldn't join Midgard though, since it's overpopulated and considered joining the winning side/FotM
