Thanks for getting it up so quick, was watching the live stream so only saw the first ~22 minutes before it borked. He's a fascinating man who I'd love to ask some questions, but I am unlikely to ever get the chance.
One part of me nods when the crowd goes all "yeah!" the moment he mentions Buffy S6: it makes some valid points -- even though Willow does all the wrong choices it hurts -- and really went way beyond entertainment... But Tara... TARA!
Cringe-worthy.... I think she was trying to be cute, but it came across as douche-y... Oh and I love that Joss is a Rob Thomas fan, he even got a cameo in Veronica Mars back in the day, it's cute that he liked iZombie (not bad IMO)
9:28 What did he say? Beard?)) If yes, i agree. And three piece suit xD Oh, didn't know about Mark Ruffalo, that's nice. Except recycle ^_^ Killing is a hobby, i got it :DD Yes. This director is the one with whom the work becomes much more fun and interesting. Whee~
I think Joss Whedon was sort of a trailblazer for featuring strong female characters in the past but I think he's failed to continue to progress and comes off as supremely arrogant/cold. I think he ultimately has his heart in the right place. I can't just write him off, as he took women in entertainment places other people were too scared to and helped raise the bar not just for heroines but also serious female action sequences. But, reflecting on AOU, which I did enjoy, he didn't really give Black Widow her due treatment as a hero/anti-hero all on her own and some of the stuff he's said about characters he's tried to shape or destroy has been sort of disagreeable to me. Also some of the lines he writes he claims bring awareness (like rape jokes/comments) but, I think we're all aware of rape/misogyny...it's not necessary to sully likeable characters with it. There's really no indication in the character that Loki's a brutal rapist, yet he brings that to the first Avengers table just to supposedly boost Black Widow's empowerment for a moment...not necessary...then, has Iron Man make his prima nocta joke, which even though he's a playboy that seemed out of character and surprising...also not funny. That Firefly episode with the sexist guy that takes over their ship, antagonizing all the women, being outwitted by River...also not necessary..is it surprising a woman can outwit a man? Do we need to keep seeing empowerment portrayed through sexism (turned into "funny" memes), or can we let them just rock on their own? He does well when reigned in, Marvel obviously didn't let him have ALL of his ideas... and when left to shape things just as he'd like he tends to make a mess in the end.
"...His sexually ambiguous demi-god friend Mouse Flesh." never thought i would hear those words outta Joss Whedon's mouth but can't say i'm disappointed :)
+Muck006 You can blame and stuff like interview of a vampire for the existence of Twilight. As buffy actually can blame its existence on them as well. Secondly you can blame the wet dreams of a dissatisfied mormon woman that is still a teen in here head.
Anyone after End Game?
CAP WAS WORTHY!!!
Thanks for speeding this panel through the upload queue, since the stream went down completely for this. Much appreciated. :)

thanks so much for posting this as soon as possible. It was torture when the servers couldn't keep up with the stream.
Joss Whedon evidently has a wicked sense of homour. He can easily do stand-up comedy.
Well, he does. On every comic-con panel ever.
Thank you so much for sharing! It was awesome ❤
I love the "or I'll hire Nathan" answer. :D
Joss has endless amounts of humor to share and spread I like how he makes fun of himself as well as others he has lots of charisma.

Steve is worthy, at least to me.

Joss Whedon is the best.

Joss is like the standup comedian of writers, excepts he sits during performance.

BRING BACK FIREFLY!
Look at Me Girl is both obnoxious and terrifying. Joss should be afraid. Very afraid.

Joss.. Buffy bluray's?
Joss whedon...Oh, sensitive Joss Whedon...Wait...Sensitive Joss Whedon sounds kinda clunky...We need a acronym for him!
SJW....
I like Joss Whedon ... I HATE Buffy, because it is a silly concept AND the reason for the existence of Twilight.

It’s a silly concept that became a masterpiece of storytelling.
