I was comparing Yesoul, Yosuda, and Merach. I went with the Merach based on this review since I also use my bike with Zwift. The bluetooth died on my first bike and I couldn't get it fixed. I tried the Wahoo cadence sensor and couldn't get it to work even though it's supposed to. I got the Merach today and it's GREAT! Incredibly SMOOTH and a sleek, simple design. The seat is hard but I have a gel pad. One tip for assembly---Attach the handlebars to the post FIRST and then insert it into the bike frame. There are 3 bolts that can easily fall into the handlebar post while you're trying to screw them in. GREAT BIKE, Tim! Thanks for the review!
Hello, thanks for your great video how long does the battery lasts in regards to Bluetooth usage please? I guess for heart rate etc would it be easy to connect our smart watch to the bike such as Fitbit e.g.?
@@RunTall I ordered one last night and will do a clipless setup, I’m so excited about the bike , got it for $199 and the price went up today at $299 , thanks again
Thanks for the review. They really should be paying you. You hit all the points someone would want to know about this bike before purchase. I have to say your review is what has me onboard with purchasing this bike. Well, that and the price. I like that they have features others make you pay for.
@@RunTall I also bought this bike on your recommendation. I inherited a nice riding Lemond Revmaster from my dad a few years ago but I can't use it for Kinomaps or Fulgaz because there's no room between the flywheel and arn for a speed sensor!
Not sure if you can answer this, or perhaps a viewer can. If I buy 2 of these and plan to use them side by side with my wife, will the bluetooth get confused and try to find the other bike or would the bluetooth isolate to the designated bike? I'd like for one bluetooth setup for the black bike and a second connectivity for a white model. Make sense?
Hey Tim! Is it my imagination or is Zwift controlling this bike??!!! I had a different bike before and even though it connected as "controllable" it wasn't. BUT I'm using the Merach today with Zwift and I swear this thing is changing resistance! Not a lot but IS IT???? I'm not used to the Merach yet of course, it's my FIRST Zwift ride with it. Am I imagining things? I'm lovin' this bike BTW.
I’m not sure on the differences between those two models. And yes, I love this bike. I try to ride my mountain bike outdoors whenever possible but when I’m indoors, this is my first choice. Have a great day!
Hi Bo. Mine connected quickly. When I opened Zwift and went to pairing, once I started peddling it came up for me to connect to. It paired up really quick for me. Sorry if you are having trouble connecting.
You don't need any particular option with Zwift, just the bluetooth connection. You should be able to see watts, speed, and rpms. You won't get the automatic resistance change which I prefer! It's hard enough mentally to see my speed slow down to 3 mph on a steep climb!
Merach blue tooth only connected once with the zwift app i was hooked , after my next and 3rd session never connected to zwift only the merach app . Is there a way to connect it back or reset the bluetooth someway?
Oh boy. Sorry to hear that you are having issues connecting to Zwift via bluetooth. When you log into Zwift and search for speed sensor, it should find it. You can try disconnecting any other sensor that might be connected to Zwift. Maybe pull the batteries out of the Merach sensor and put them back in again or replace them if they are dead. I hope this helps. Have a great day. Happy Holidays. Have a great day and stay safe.
Hey thanks. I'm still loving this bike. I've been using it to help me in my current training block. It's doing great! Have a great weekend. Thanks for all of your support.
It's the MR S02 Exercise Bike or Spin Bike. Have fun shopping. I think you can get this for around $200 U.S. dollars right now. Have a great weekend and thanks for watching.
Hey thanks for the question. I don't have the Peloton app to be able to test it out. Sorry I couldn't help with that. It does work well with Kinomap and Zwift for sure. Have a great weekend.

Physically the bike looks like an exact copy of the Yesoul....looks like the same bike
thanks for the review. I just bought it because of all the good details you gave.
I think you’ll love it. Let me know how it works for you. Have a great week!
Hello, thanks for your great video how long does the battery lasts in regards to Bluetooth usage please? I guess for heart rate etc would it be easy to connect our smart watch to the bike such as Fitbit e.g.?
I'm still using the original batteries that came with it so they are lasting a long time for me! Have a great day.
Hey Tim great review, have u tried using clipless pedals with the bike ?
No I haven't. I should look into that! Thanks. Have a great weekend!

Can you install a different saddle? 🤔 the pole looks standard size.

hey tim, you mentioned that in the merach app it displays resistance, is the case the same for zwift and kinomap??
Is this model still up on Amazon?
The best reviwe ever!! Thanks so much...I am getting this one.
Glad it was helpful!

That’s a great question. Unfortunately I haven’t tried that. Sorry I can’t be off more help. Have a great day and Happy New Year!

Do you know the difference between the cc and tt version? Looking for my first bike. Also have you kept this bike and still enjoy it?

@@RunTall well I did it I bought the bike today hahah so I’m glad your still enjoying it excited to get mine next week.
Does the Merach TT resistance auto adjust with the training videos? I have the Merach Rower 06 and the resistance level auto adjusts.
Hi and thanks for the question. No it doesn’t adjust automatically. I hope this helps. Have a great day!
Their S09 model got resistance auto adjustment. It's $600. But I bought it today for $400 from Amazon with a $200 off promotion.
Hello, which option did you use to connect to Zwift/Kinomap since this bike isn’t listed as an option on those apps?

Will this work with Fulgaz, Velo Reality and Kinomaps?
Hi Michael. It does work with Kinomaps. I haven’t tried the others you mentioned. I use Zwift most of the time. Have a great day.
@@RunTall Yep...I have the bike and it does work with Kinomaps.
What is the actual name and model of this thing? And where can I go buy it? :)

Hi! Does the bike give Power Cycling Measurements?
No it doesn’t. Not that I’ve been able to find anyway. Have a great day. Stay safe.
is this compatible with the peloton app

Great video....just ordered
Hope you enjoy it! Have a great day!
@Run Tall with Tim thx !! Bike just arrived and of course my wife force me to order her one as well. The good thing I caught on sale for $199
Enjoy your new bikes. That’s awesome. Have a great day.
Only thing I wish this bike had is a softer seat
Hi Bernardo. I hear you, especially as I get older. A soft seat is always appreciated. Have a great day and thanks for watching.
I have a padded seat cover I bought separately. Try that!
Whats the difference between the CC and the TT? I assume both show power in watts on Zwift? How is the grade simulated in zwift?
I'm not sure of the differences between these two models. I only have this one. I love it though. It works great.
I totally love your video! Very detailed review.
Thank you so much! I greatly appreciate it Kyra. Have a great day.
