Sardar ji bilkul sahi hai. Just because majority is in the wrong doesn't make Sardar ji wrong.

Shafts should be used for lifts only and not for building rooms or any other personal area.
I am also a senior citizen and resident if this block. The culprits have captured all the shaft area. Climbing status is very tedious
this video is now 3 months old...have they installed a lift outside like they were saying?

All these guys are telling lies , they have build these rooms in the shafts which is to be used for lift. They have build these rooms about 4/5 years back and earlier MCD had issued notices to these guys for illegal construction in the shaft and now DDA has also issued notices and is taking action after proper investigation.
These guys have encroached the shafts which is a common area of the society and is to be used for lift.
There are lifts installed in the shafts in the same society after intervention of the court.

I strongly believe that if the residents who have issues with the rooms in shafts should have opposed it earlier rather than now trying to demolish someone's house. This is highly inconsiderate and totally brutal on the part of residents favoring this decision. As neighbours, it's duty is to support each other and create a happy environment around, however, this video shows how few people are ready to ruin someone's house on cost of having a lift. Shame!!

DDA does not have any proof that the place is illegal. It is all a propaganda spread by few people who have some known people sitting at high posts in the department. नीचे के घर वालों ने गलत कंस्ट्रक्शन किया हुआ है। जब ऊपर के फ्लैट वाले लिफ्ट लगवाने को कहते है तो नीचे की फ्लोर वाले स्पेस नही देते । जो की गलत है।

They are encroaching premises which was optional for other purposes.. for example lift.... To cover their illegal activity they showing houses in video who covered their own paid premises ... Not encroached society premises... I think they hold senior positions in society so they can do anything they want, as they mentioned they r ready to compensate other members in this building to move lift to other side .... 😂😂😂😂 And they accepted they did wrong as others too did it...others r doing wat they can to make maximum use wat they paid off... The shaft is untouched. No encroachment is done. Why are we getting bullied. We also want a lift but at appropriate place not at the cost of destruction of our house. This is regarding safety and security of our entire property.

If the shaft has been covered by some residents, then it can and should be broken if someone demands. Secondly, when there are four floors in the flats, then having a lift is desirable. They should all agree to have lifts in the shaft even if it was not envisioned in original plan. All the oldpeople now opposing life will sooner or later need it.

Firstly, all these people commenting here in support of DDA and sardarji. Do you all even know the whole story? Just seen a 19mins video and you are giving verdicts here when you do not even know the whole story. Shame on you guys!
Secondly, DDA does not have any proof that this has been illegally constructed. We bought this property with this area already built in it. DDA is not even replying to our grievances, why? Because they have orders from some high rank officials who are involved in this propaganda? Where is the original layout of this building where it says that this place was not there earlier and it was constructed later and it was meant for lift? Where are answers to these questions?
And by the way, shaft is still very much there and is in proper condition.
Sardarji in this video is trying to play the victim card here but he is not the actual victim, we all are. Its been told to him multiple times that he will get the lift for sure and his problem will be solved but he has no interest in that. He only has one motto of destruction!
