I think I'd like to experiment with Heros Cape as the Ace Spec. I usually give both my Bouffalant, Bravery Charms, to help keep them alive incase they get Bossed up into the Active. There's other cards like Glass Trumpet and Crispin that I think will work better than Sparkeling Crystal, IMO.
It sounds like you run a very different build as I don't have trumlet, crispin, or the Crystal in there so not sure what you're referring to in reference to the list shown in the video? Hero's Cape could definetly be an interesting one to experiment with though! What match up are you struggling with that the extra 50 hp it gives fixes the math for?
@@TripleBtcg not referring to anything in particular, sorry for the confusion. I just like to run Crispin, Trumpet, and Sparkling Crystal in my Terapagos deck, but I've thought about pulling Crystal in place of the cape. And I'm not struggling too much with any matches, but I think it would be a nice boost to health for something like Charizard, Palkia or Dragapult.
Ah ok sounds like you run a very different deck and I'm guessing are able to use the second attack as well then? It would kind of depend on how often you find yourself needing the second attack and if you care about it as crystal, trumpet, attach to get an attack off turn 1 is pretty cool since you can't use the first attack. Seems like a pretty easy change to make though, have you tested both?
@@TripleBtcg Tbh, I've only gotten into the TCG very recently and only started playing a few days ago. 😅 I figured that if I wanted to use the second attack, I may as well add the last energy needed to use both attack and fluctuate between both moves when needed. Crown Opal has won me a few games against things like Giritina V, Lapras ex and even a Deoxys V. I think it's worth checking out if you want to make a few changes to your build. 🙂
It's definetly an interesting attack and could be helpful on the PTCGL ladder for match ups like those if you're finding a lot of decks like that online. Realistically though the amount of gust options decks run I don't see it working very well at a competitive level.
@@TripleBtcg Indeed. Stopping Hero's Cape, Prime Catcher and Unfair Stamp is pretty cool! Sadly I don't have too many decks that have space for it, but I always sneak in one when I can!
Ive came across a problem Opponent using boss order to put a bufalant in active spot and I did not had energy card to retreat, giving him time to set up 2 charizard ex
The switch outs are a bit limited but you've got ways to target your prime catcher, could use penny to get it out of the active, or attach DTE and rescue board. Not perfect fixes but there's plays available to you for that situation
@@TripleBtcg I would say from your list I’d trade the pennies for 2 thortens and drop your radiant and genisect for 2 gigas ment to be discarded for thorten
Def worth testing but would require a very different build. I personally don't think the second attack is very good though as you can just get around it with gust, use an evolved attacker, or a colorless attacker like bloodmoon ursaluna.
@@TripleBtcgyeah you're probably right. it's just I played against opal and couldnt find my way around it so that was annoying and I probably thought it was better then I thought..
@@lollitozz lol all good. Helps for TIna and Roaring moon, also provides a way to get rotom online to hit for 70 to get passed mimikyu or KO pre-Evo's turn 1 since pagos can't attack going second.
@@TripleBtcg thanks for the tips! idk if it is better but i prefer to play 1 briar 1 penny than 2 penny + scoop cyclone instead prime catcher. I also think 1 mist energy is fine since you can search it if needed (i replaced the 2nd with another ultra ball atm)
Cyclone is a good call too! I like prime catcher since we have a free retreated in pidgeot it's an easy to use gust and pivot play if needed while also offering another switch. Scoop Up to get the penny effect without using your supporter freeing it up for other plays is pretty big 🔥

I'm more of a fan of the checkmate style for terapagos with dusknoirs and briar for a 4 prize turn
Sounds pretty spicy 🔥
A deck playing Genesect?! My favourite pokémon?!
He's a pretty sneaky tech ;)

Ya it's Def a tough tech to justify in decks needing to fit it in and have a spare tool you can chuck on it 😅
But when you can it seems pretty solid
Being able to use teras tricolor attack shuts down basic pokemon decks.
To a degree. They can gust around you to get by the effect.

Thorten And regiGigus v to retaliate from getting hit hard for a 1 hit ko

what about it second attack? and setup with briar and sparkling Christal?
too bad 32:36 they conceded so fast I would have liked to see it played out

More like a side organisation that's more inclusive and not limited to just blue fellas.
