    Steel threaded into aluminum has a tendency to weld together. I use neverseize on dissimilar metal connections. Seems to work well.

      Absolutely! I'm surprised the factory doesn't do this. Or at least put grease on the threads.

    Really disappointed in KTM quality over the last few years. Why pay the extra premium when you get fet this bs?!

      I agree, when you pay premium price you think it would have lots of grease in there. The head bearings were done nice but nothing else. I think this holds true for most bikes these days. I'm glad I did it now before the suspension seized up. For someone who rides several times a week this probably isnt an issue but for me, my bikes sit a lot in between rides and any moisture trapped in the suspension will turn right to rust.
