    The glass covers on the cooker is essentially an extension of the worktop. It also serves as a washeable splashback.
    Normally you cant use the space taken up by the cooker. The glass cover is just a utility to place items on top of the cooker.

    • @redmarquis7786
      @redmarquis7786 2 года назад +7

      Not really sure about that. This kitchen has an abundance of worktop. I believe it serves as a protection for small kids and their nosy little hands.

    • @CreepyBlackDude
      @CreepyBlackDude 2 года назад +11

      May also be something to do with the open air? With it being open, might have things fly in (dust, leaves, flies, etc.) that you don't want on a stove top. Could be completely wrong, mind you.
      Maybe it's a mix of all the things we all said.

    • @Fualapeezy

      I believe it has more to do with the fact that they are right on the coast. The cliffs have waves constantly crashing against them. The porous metal surfaces rust easily when exposed to the ocean spray, and the house is totally open. So, the cover is to protect the grills from the ocean spray.

      Most stoves have that cover in méxico, Even if You are in the city far away from the ocean. Your typical mexican Kitchen is small and often has no backsplash so it serves those two purposes. I'm mexican and live in Guatemala and it's Also the same way here.

      We will have to secure the country before offering a little too much, because Mexico isn't safe ...
      In the Guerrero region there are only three sure cities, including Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo, between them it's very dangerous & it's better to have an armored car, security guards and heavy weapons to defend themselves in case .
      These Latin American countries are very pretty, but the majority are dangerous and not safe at all.
      If it's to live among rich or wealthy people in gilded prisons, even with all the comforts, that sucks.
      You know in these types of social circles people are greedy for your fall and your misfortune not your happiness and your success , that why live with these type of persons end up to sucks .

      @@josepadilla7052 You want to talk about the number of corpses found murdered summarily and thrown into mass graves at best, but more often left to rot on the spot, in Mexico, of which 80% of Migrants in the lot.
      And that's not to mention all the murders directly or indirectly attributable to drug trafficking ?!
      Or talk about, country by country in Latin America to enumerate the list of disappearances of children and adults, whether locals or tourists?!
      the Cops in the USA don't go out in the streets weaponed like military in vans or trucks convoy , they have one car per patrol crew, they're not dressed as if they was going to war like a paramilitary, they have a uniform that attracts respect and above all to control you , he does not wear an M4 pointing it in your face directly , he have a protocol ...
      So yea , hell yea , there are many terrible neighborhoods with murders and assaults every week or at school too, where it's not good to live or better to live now , because the population has changed and it's no longer the same mentalities or cultures, which coexist each others, especially since it's currently fashionable, among newcomers, instead of making their hole by closing their mouths as others, many others before them did & have done without frown;
      Today it's the fashion , to impose their ways of life, their ways of thinking and their cultures on those who are NATIVES of the country where they come to squat hoping to obtain the same Nationality as me...
      And after people yell at racism...
      I seriously died of laughter, because racism is created by those who complain about it the most, by their way of being with their neighbors.
      You can be having bigs guns at home, to the tooth and never kill anyone in your life, it's just a security for an overwhelming majority of their users, it's a deterrent.
      If you have to use it; it's that in front of you, the determination of the individual was stronger than the intimidation of having the gun in your hands, so you are in your right , to use it to defend you, because it's him or you.

    I hate that Enes mentioned "Spanish architecture" when being in Zihuatanejo, MEXICO :( I don't know why people keep confusing us with Spain, even when we are barely alike 👎🏻

      Just because you aint in spain doesn't mean it can be Spanish ARCHITECTURE he isn't saying anything about the place being spanish just the ARCHITECTURE like you can have a wood cabin in a beach setting but you'd still call it a wood cabin right?

    I'm gonna go with, since it's all open, that stove cover is for protection so that animal don't go near those, as it might be stained with cookings. Also for cleanliness. I have one of those at home.

    With a price tag like that it's definitely worth the view.🔥 Purchasing or building a villa without a beautiful view is a hilarious waste of tropical themed housing.

    Please tell me, what if the heavy rain starts, or really big storm hits the coast? Is the kitchen and living room under water or not?

    I bought my villa in curacao for about 800.000. It's 3 times the size (and we bought the lot next to it too for an outdoor gym and bigger yard and place for the dog and kid to play.

    It looks lovely, and the price is nice to see.
    A question though, is the building shared with other apartments? There seems to be some rooms below you on the drone footage, but you didn't tour those rooms.

    Funny thing about the range cover glass. It’s so normal here in Brazil. It’s the way the ranges are made. Just a finishing. Simple like that.
