I can see a ground and pound victory for Volkanovski in the 4th round. I think Volk may be a little to strong in the grappling game. Lopes may have some great BJJ, but it all falls apart when you are being punched in the face when going to the ground game.

I'v got all the same picks, apart from the main event. Volk is unable to hurt or submit Lopes, all he can do is bring it to a decision by point fighting in and out. Lopes on the other hand dropped Volk, even when he landed less, he had the biggest impact in damage on Volk's face. He absorbed shots much better. Lopes can also force the grappling, and win by submission or at least get Volk against the cage where he tends to get KO'd (because he can't be elusive with his footwork as he does in the open). Basically what I'm saying is that Volk can only win by decision. While Lopes can win by submission, KO, or decision. And he's the one that has to make the adjustments, Volk has no adjustments to do, because he can only win by fighting the fight that way, which is what Lopes prepared for this time, and he now knows what's like to go 5 rounds. For all this reasons, as well as the underdog odds, I'm going with Lopes on this one.
