Great video Kevin! I've started to dabble with using variable grids it's so good for basic column layouts look forward to the video on that one as well!
I manage a Windows CRM system, and I train my users by saying, "Right click brings joy." If you think the control or action you are looking for is not there but seems like it should be, right-click. It sticks with them, and believe me, it is a hard feat to get them to remember how to use software. You can use it if you like. This is an amazing way to build, Thank you.
Fascinating. Thank you. All your tutorials are incredibly helpful in getting to know ACSS as well as CSS. BONUS: the entertainment value!

Partly I cursed you because things didn't work... until I also realized something was wrong with Bricks :). The thing I'm most excited about in this tutorial is the control button in combination with the breakpoints. What a performance gain! Thank you very much!
Always something new to pick up! Watching it sped up, I just wish Bricks could have the same response time as on the sped up video :) It seems after creating more than five sections it starts to get laggy and cannot keep up with the workflow speed provided by ACSS
I'm learning CSS thanks to you ! Thank you so much ! A video talking more about css selectors (and a few concrete examples in Bricks) would be incredible :) Also, a video presenting most options and commands for the ACSS plugin/panel could be really useful. (I'd love to be able to custom it even more with all those options but I'm a bit scared to mess things up sometimes :p )
@@AutomaticCSS Well sure but you need to have access to the backend to activate or deactivate the Frames plugin. Please see the circle to get credentials.
On using utility classes to set the grid on various breakpoints, there are the four default sizes. I trust if we open up Bricks to use six that this can break that workflow and at this stage we would need to default to BEM or a class anyway or does ACSS slot in extra sizes to accomodate this?
Hi Kevin, thank you for this tutorial. Try as I may - and I have tried numerous times, I failed to get the headline & the paragraph below to space, adjacent to the image, to work as illustrated by you. "Headline" refuses to move to the next line! The only way I could do this was to use "ch"! I am a frustrated CHUMP!
made a site with breakpoints by default. but I needed to add 1440px now all the styles that were there disappeared at 1440 and start working only at 1280px
Honestly, life-changing

Looking forward to all of the layout videos + enjoyed the "free" entertainment & Dad jokes.

The only lag issues I still experience are related to clicking in the classes input and adding classes.
When in doubt... It's all right click, baby! 😂😂😂 Good entertainment!! 👏

Great video Kevin and theres no end to the dad jokes 🙂
If Frames is present, .grid-auto-rows doesn't provide the same result at 6:43. The divs in the rows become full width.

@@jmcbade2960 It wasn't related to the Frames plugin. I found the issue and it's been resolved.
@@AutomaticCSS I am glad you figuered it out. Would this resolution be in an update then?
It's not solved in 3.0.8 correct?
thanks
It may be a free video but I WOULD TOTALLY PAY FOR "BANG BANG" "BANG BANG" (with finger guns) HaHaHaHa classic!!!
@13:53 Why not a "-1" button at ...the end of the buttons list ? There would be no necessity to count the columns. Am I right ?
What do you mean? For which part?

ACSS has two extra breakpoints you can activate
@@AutomaticCSS excellent, good to know.
No!!! Not the Kevin Heart bang bang 🤣🤣

Post in the community and we can help you.

Read the documentation on adding new breakpoints in Bricks. You have to be very careful and follow the steps precisely.
Very stupid question but how did you get the ACSS dashboard to dock on the left?
Grab it by the logo and drag it to left edge. Then hit dock pin icon.
@@AutomaticCSS Thank you. You owe me one dope slap.
Thanks great video. Could you just please mention at least once, what the "command" key is on other computers?
Ctrl
@@MariuszBatorowiczThank you! That's what I thought. But doesn't work for me, conflict ...
