- In this video, we're counting down 101 things you probably didn't know about JoJo's Bizarre Adventure!
After finally getting completely caught up to the series I knew I finally had to make a video about it. Especially since it's been requested so much over the course of my time making anime and manga related videos.
In this one, we're covering information surrounding every part of the series. Including the currently airing Stone Ocean, along with unadapted parts Steel Ball Run and JoJolion.

The part about how Araki really pushed to have female leads really warmed my heart. I have a lot of respect for him but this made me even happier.
I agree! You don’t see many *good* female leads that don’t just get pushed down to a ‘damsel in distress’ cliché. It’s unfortunate that his dream for Giorno didn’t come to light(which would have been amazing!) but I’m glad it came through with Jolene!

Fun fact: The world is actually indeed a stronger stand than star platinum having stronger strength and speed than star platinum. As stated in jojoveller, araki said that dio wasn’t mocking about the world being stronger since it truly is. In addition, when the ova part 3 director discussed with araki he thinks that jotaro beaten dio out of sheer luck and tactics over a powerful enemy but araki claimed that he wanted to make the fight scene like dragon ball. He tries to draw it out where the boys souls colliding with each other.
In any stand stats/description star platinum is always stated to have an a in speed and strength so I'm not sure

Just a little fix, "Gio" in Italian is pronounced the same as "Jo", so "GioGio" still sounds like "JoJo". And also the r in Louvre is not silent, if you say louve it means female wolf in French :P

@@aahhhhhhhhhhhhh Well all of them got their chance to see how reliable, faithful, and powerful Giorno is. Bucciarati was beaten by Giorno in a fight so of course he welcomes him as a valuable asset, Fugo sees his resolve and quick thinking to overcome Purple Hazes poison and admires him for it. Narancia is fucking stupid and kind of just does what Bucciarati says. Abacchio always hated him, but deep down knew he was reliable after witnessing his sacrifice on the boat. Mista and Giorno bonded over their little trip to take down the kraft work guy (forget his name). And Trish joined the squad after Giorno, so she just views him as part of them anyways.

#54 is flawed, I’ve seen Jotaro’s hat fly off during the episode Iggy and Geb (water stand) were introduced. Iggy even did the favor of picking the hat up for Jotaro (before promptly humiliating him)

Araki was obviously joking, there's in fact multiple times Jotaro is drawn without a hat through Stardust Crusaders, more in the manga than the anime
Edit: Jotaro's hat is ripped off on the behind in a way that makes it look like part of his hair, this was because Araki wanted to make him more recognizable from behind, you can see in the early chapters of Stardust Crusaders how his hat looked like a normal student's hat before this decision.

I want a whole ass anime about the frogs from jojo.
It’s starts with the frog from part 1, developing a hatred for the zeppelis and joestars (since Jonathan just kinda stood there and watched) and each part has a new frog protagonist with the main jojo and zeppli being the antagonist. Of course, the jojo team just ignores the frogs, but the frogs themselves fight this epic battle between man and amphibian. The anime would eventually end by part 5 since the likely-hood of a frog getting into a prison isn’t very high
Well, to be fair, weather report did make it rain frogs at one point. It's possible you can incorporate that into the frog plot so the frogs end up in prison

Maybe for part 6 a frog could get to the prison from the swamp, or maybe one survives from the weather report rain of frogs and hunts the main characters down after surviving a huge fall

I hope one day the lost 2007 Jojo phantom blood movie gets found. I keep hearing rumors that Araki hated it and disallowed it to be released on home media, but we don’t have confirmation on what he thought. Also, the movie don’t have a limited release, but rather an average release common for anime movies at the time. The most likely reason I can think of is due to APPP losing the rights to David productions and David productions wanted to start all over so they decided not to release and make the anime in 2012. It’s a shame that dozens, if not hundreds, of animators work is unavailable to be viewed and we don’t know if the footage is locked away collecting dust due to being forgotten, or destroyed all together. All we have are some trailers and sixteen minutes of footage so far.

It was because Josuke 8 was a product of Josefumi Kujo fusing with Yoshikage Kira using the Rocacacaca (idk how to spell) fruit. (equivalent exchange)

I’m a huge fan of JoJo’s, and so I knew most of the facts here. That’s why it makes sooooo happy that they’re actually real. I cannot express with words how frustating it is to see so many “JoJo Facts” videos that have much disinformation in them *coughs in Cartoon Hangover*. I like that with the “Anasui Gender” and “Josuke’s Savior” you actually remained neutral and didn’t include any personal beliefs into the fact itself.

Dio was talking about how Hermit Purple is the weakest stand in the Crusaders. He wasn’t talking about every stand, only the Crusader’s Stands. He deemed survivor is the weakest stand out of every stand that we know of.

Even when referring to survivor though he's kind of trying to explain that the concept of "the weakest stand" isn't really a good way of looking at it since even weak stands can be strong in a particular niche (survivor itself serving as a big problem in the High Security brawl)

I don't know if these were stated but it's cool finding out that JoJo actually had either bad translations or completely different names in the beginning of their parts.
Part 1: His Youth
Part 2: His Proud Lineage
Part 3: Heritage/Legacy Of The Future
Part 4: Diamond Is Not Crash
Part 5: Golden Heritage
Past that every other title is completely correctomundo.
It's also cool to note that only part 1 and 4(parts that started their own arcs, hamon and stand arcs respectively) don't have any use of a synonym for family

Even though I love David Production's work with Jojo, as I lover of older animation I absolutely love how amazing and beautiful the ovas' and movie's animation looks ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
For 83, my interpretation is that not all of the characters on the page are Rock Humans. It's basically saying "You can't tell which of these are Rock Humans and which aren't just by looking at them."
As far as I know this is the correct interpretation of that page and the only rock human on it is the rock human mother

Great video, and very accurate too. Regarding Enya and Ermes in part 8, I personally thought they were included just as easter eggs and nothing more; the idea that since rock humans and humans look identical, you wouldn't be able to say for sure which of the women on the page are actual humans or not.
True if I see Enya & that chick in bikini you know who my money is on for being a rock human vs a human who makes me rock...

That's very unlikely, considering DIO has access to Jonathan's stand, which is basically the same.
Cool video, however Araki actually loved dogs from the start and showed animal brutality to establish incredibly evil villains. Also, some facts are not facts but more of speculation like with Hermes and Enya being Rock humans (also there is no indication of 95% Rock Humans being natural stand users, but just stand users who may have got stands from holy lands like near the Wall Eyes). Good work though.
In addition jotaros hat has been proven to not be part of his head, thus spoke kishibe rohan came out after rohans appearance in diu and the holy corpses identity has been revealed

Yeah there's no way around it they either have to use cgi horses which would need to blend in extremely well consider most of the action scene is on top of them, or the budget has to be stupidly expensive for them to hand draw them
@@tenderandmoist5011 I think the best solution, as painful as it is to admit, is to completely animate Steel Ball Run in CG. I know CG Anime has a very bad reputation, and to suggest that the next JoJo Anime be CG is the Anime equivalent of kicking a puppy, but I think it could work for a few reasons:
1. David Productions have actually used CG elements in every JoJo adaptation, and they blended in so well people barely even noticed them. There’s actually a scene at the start of Stardust Crusaders Part 2 where they actually shift from 3D to 2D seamlessly.
2. We’ve already seen how DP animates JoJo thanks to the intros for Parts 1, 2, 3 and 6. And considering how absurdly faithful those intros are to Araki’s style, then a full series with that animation would actually go over pretty well.
And finally: 3. Steel Ball Run is the start of a whole new universe for JoJo separate from the main continuity, so you have the perfect excuse for such a drastic art style Change

yup. also, the creator of Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto, was a background artist assistant for Golden Wind back when it was being serialised. near part 5's conclusion in 1999, Kishi's one shot from 1997 got the green light to become a full-length series, and the rest is history

my personal theory for dio's "two stands" is that because his/jonathans' body being still alive, a part of jonathan's soul still clings onto it's body, much like when bucciaratti "died" in the church after his encounter with diavolo :)
19:52 funnily enough, Enya, in her actual arc, was probably the least intimidating and scary villain, firstly, with her being already known to reader and so eliminating any mystery around her, secondly with all of that Polnaref acting like a son figure to Enya, pissing her out while she can’t express her anger due to being an enemy, and, finally, with the fact what Jotaro defeats her by just fucking inhaling.

for number 78 -for people who have read up to part 8 would probably understand- i believe that josukes savior is the OG (would technically be alternate universe because shows up in part 8) Josufumi Kujo, it would make sense because the hair style is somewhat similar. and for the fact that he is part of josuke part 8 because without him he would have not ever existed, just like how josuke p4 would have died in that car if they didn't show up
