Gary Hurst is the guy here in the UK who made these original units in the back shop of Macari's on Denmark Street in London starting in '65 with Mk1 tonebenders.
He's still doing his thing!.
@@keiranbradley3238 that’s right! It’s so cool to know that Gary is still working on them all this time. He and John (the owner of these pedals) are friendly and talk over email. So much incredible information he’s shared
@r2relectric
He's a national treasure!.
Your work is outstanding too btw, I've yet to hear a bad example of your units!.
Peace.
@@keiranbradley3238 I really appreciate that, thank you!
@r2relectric
I would be amazing if you could source Impex S3-1T trannies to do a Supa-Fuzz.
Those sound incredible.
I know it's getting harder and harder to find genuine 60's germanium transistors but builders like yourself can get the best out of more common trannies, especially the circuits surrounding them that you build, your pedals are right up there with Stu Castledine and David Main.
Excellent. So glad you started a RUclips channel. Rock and roll music my friend.
rad
Awesome playing btw!.
Oh my gawd dude
🤘
Certenlly dig it
